髪の損傷や、人によっては皮膚にかぶれを起こしたりす
るために使用する前にバッチテストを行う必要があり、
必ずしも安全性のあるものとはいいがたい。

ましくは1.0−3.0%(重量)である。本発明の染
毛料組成物を構成する上記成分以外はすべて水でありこ
の水によって全量を調整する。好ましくはイオン交換水
を使用することが望ましく、この場合の該水の使用量は
染毛料組成物中の80−97%(重量)の範囲である。
本発明の酸性染料の毛髪への染色性に関わる大きな因子
であるベンジルアルコ−ルとアラビアガムとの作用につ
いては、ベンジルアルコ−ルが毛髪に浸透する酸性染料
の浸透促進剤として働き、適当な表面張力を持ったアラ
ビアガムが毛髪に浸透した酸性染料の固着をより強固に
する作用を持つものと理解される。

−ムの剤型とするには、例えば、本発明の染毛料組成物
に、通常化粧品分野において使用される乳化剤、可溶化
剤、安定化剤、整髪基剤等を添加し常法どうり製造する
ことが出来る。また、ム−ス状〜フォ−ム状の剤型とす
るには、例えば本発明の染毛料組成物にノニオン系の界
面活性剤を1%(重量)以下と増粘剤0.5−1%(重
量)添加したものを、フロンガスまたはプロパン系ガス
等の液化噴射ガスと共にエアゾ−ル缶に充填し、使用時
にム−ス状〜フォ−ム状に噴射するように調整すればよ
い。本発明の染毛料組成物を用いて毛髪の染色を実施す
るには、本発明の染毛料組成物を毛髪に15−50℃で
適用し、5−20分前後の作用時間をおいた後毛髪を洗
浄し、乾燥すれば良い。
