Abstract

PURPOSE:To efficiently dry flowering fern. CONSTITUTION:A beam crosspiece 1 is laid in a rotary barrel 11 made of steel plate, flowering fern 12 is raised up to the top by the crosspiece and dropped. On the other hand, hot air from a heat exchanger 4 is supplied from a side wall at the one-side of the rotary barrel 1 and exhausted from a side wall at the other side. The flowering fern in the rotary barrel is rubbed and dried. Since the flowering fern is effectively dried with hot air controlled at a given temperature by the operation, the product is improved.

【発明が解決しようとする課題】従来の技術で述べた装
置では、ぜんまいを乾燥する熱源として薪を使用してい
る。その為、薪の補給及び温度管理を常にしなければな
らず、労力が大変であった。温度管理も薪の為、常に所
定の温度にすることは実際上不可能であった。又、回転
胴は多孔板で構成されている為、微粉が胴外へ飛散して
焚火上へ落下する欠点がある。更に、製品の取出しも回
転体の下部に焚火がある為、これを避けて行なわなけれ
ばならず取扱いが不便であった。従来の技術では、上記
の問題点を有しており、本発明は従来の技術の有するこ
のような問題点に鑑みてなされたものであり、その目的
とするところは、乾燥作業をより省力化し、乾燥温度を
所定の温度に制御することにより、より品質の良い製品
を製造できる装置を提供しようとするものである。

んまい12はぜんまい投入シュート3より回転胴1内に
投入され、回転胴1内の桟11により、上部迄かき上げ
られ落下する。回転胴1が回転している間この動作が繰
り返えされぜんまいは揉捻され、綿13が取り除かれ
る。一方、熱交換器4よりの熱風は回転胴1内に供給さ
れ、排出される。この時、ぜんまい12は乾燥され、綿
13は熱風の排気と共に回転胴1の外に排出される。熱
風は温度調節器(図示せず)により、所定の温度に制御
されている。又、乾燥後の製品は、ぜんまい取出扉2を
開くことにより、簡単に回転胴1内より取出すことがで
きる。
