端面を埋め込むことができない。これらが密着不良によ
る洩れの原因となる。端板に用いる合成樹脂材料が高融
点で粘度の高いものであるときなどはこの現象が著し
い。

て盛り上がるから濾材端面を埋め込み、定着するのに有
効に作用する。上記のように、溶融する際流動性のよい
状態になしうるのは、予め端板の接合すべき表面に溶融
予定部を設けておき凸部の表面を多く加熱するようにす
ればその溶融予定部が先に高い流動性を得て平坦部に流
れ込んで溜まるので、平坦部も均一に強く加熱する必要
がないからである。また平坦部を強熱しないので端板全
体の硬化や変形も避けられる。
