[Conventional Technology and Problems] Conventional methods for joining metals include fusion welding, solid phase joining, and brazing. Among them, the brazing method does not melt the material (base material) and joins it at a lower temperature than that, so there is little change in the material and dimension of the material, it is easy to join dissimilar metals, There are advantages such as joining.

However, the shape of the metal used for brazing is powder, foil,
Wire, rod-shaped, the joining method is to apply powder to the joining surface or to heat the foil with a predetermined heat source after inserting the foil between metals, so if the joining surface is complicated and wide, Regardless of which shape of brazing material is used, pretreatment and the like become complicated, and it is not easy to obtain a complete joined body due to wax breakage.

In addition, in the case of hard solders such as copper and nickel solder, it is necessary to use various fluxes depending on the materials in order to bond them in the atmosphere because of the high temperature oxidation of the bonding materials. Special equipment such as atmosphere furnace is required.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] The present invention is a method of joining metals by forming a brazing metal or a metal having a similar component on the joint surface as a sprayed coating and melting the coating. . Therefore, since the metal layer is formed on the joint surface by the thermal spraying method, there is an advantage that the multi-faceted and wide-area portion can be easily joined without being restricted by the kind and shape of the material. Regarding a metal joining method using a thermal spray coating, a patent has been applied for a joining technology using a self-fluxing alloy spray coating material (metal joining method using a self-fluxing alloy spray coating). The present invention is to join by using a brazing metal other than the self-fluxing alloy, and has a wider variety of applications than the self-fluxing alloy.
It is characterized in that it is low in price and functionally provides a bonding strength similar to that when a self-fluxing alloy is used.

In the first invention of the present application, the joint portion of the material is shielded from the atmosphere by the thermal spray coating and is hardly oxidized even when exposed to a high temperature, so that the joining in the atmosphere is possible.

In the second invention of the present application, the kind of the joining material is somewhat limited, but since the heating source used for joining is the heat of the metal in the molten state, no special equipment is required for joining, This casting method has an advantage that molding and joining can be performed simultaneously and in a short time.

With the above-described simple procedure, in the first invention of the present application of FIG. 1, the sprayed coatings are melt-bonded to each other at the joint portion, and the material and the sprayed coatings are mechanically bonded or metal-diffusion reaction is performed to bond them. To do. Further, in the second invention of the present application, the thermal spray coating on the solid metal side is melted by the heat of the melted counterpart metal in the bonded portion, and serves as an adhesive agent for both metals, whereby a strong bonded body is obtained.

[Advantages of the Invention] In this method, since the material bonding surface is shielded from the atmosphere by the thermal spray coating layer, the formation of an oxide film is prevented during the high temperature holding at the time of bonding. It has a great feature that it can be joined by pressure.

In addition, since the surface of the material is covered with a sprayed layer, it does not require much labor to clean the surface when joining, and it requires more skill than using an insert material or brazing by brazing. It is a method with excellent convenience such as not performing.
