However, nickel-copper alloys are not always sufficiently satisfactory in free-cutting properties for eyeglasses. Therefore, a nickel-copper alloy having both corrosion resistance and free-cutting property is required, but when trying to improve the free-cutting property, the corrosion resistance decreases, while when trying to improve the corrosion resistance, the free-cutting property decreases.
No spectacle nickel-copper alloy satisfying both properties has been obtained, and therefore no such spectacle frame has been obtained.

(Summary of the Invention) In order to achieve the first object of the present invention, one or more elements selected from Pb, Te, S, Se, Bi and Ca in weight% are used.
An eyeglass frame made of a nickel-copper alloy containing 0.005 to 5% is provided. That is, the elements of Pb, Te, S, Se, Bi and Ca are Cu-N
It exists as a low-melting metallic inclusion or non-metallic inclusion in the i-alloy and improves the lubrication effect without significantly lowering the corrosion resistance and also improves the effect of removing the crevices generated at the cutting edge of the cutting tool. However, if the amount of this kind of element is too large, the hot workability and free-cutting property are deteriorated, while if it is too small, the effect is small. Therefore, its content is preferably 0.001 to 5% by weight, more preferably 0.01 to 2% by weight, and further preferably 0.1 to 1% by weight.

According to the present invention, an alloy having both good corrosion resistance and good free-cutting property can be obtained. However, if hot workability is not improved, free-cutting property and corrosion resistance are likely to decrease, and corrosion resistance, free-cutting property and workability It was difficult to obtain an alloy satisfying both characteristics. Therefore, in the present invention, in order to achieve the second object, at least one element selected from Pb, Te, S, Se, Bi and Ca is 0.

Here, the addition of Ti, C and Mg is based on the above-mentioned additive elements (Pb, Te, S, Se, B
The hot workability is improved without reducing the machinability of the effect of adding i and Ca). That is, Ti fixes nitrogen and prevents the generation of blowholes, and C and Mg help prevent the crystal grains from increasing in size. However, if the amount of these additional elements is too large, the hot workability is deteriorated, while if it is too small, it is difficult to obtain good hot workability. In addition to these characteristics, if attention is paid to deformation workability and high corrosion resistance, the Cu content is preferably 10 to 30%, while if attention is paid to seawater resistance and high temperature strength, 60 to 75% is preferable. As described above, there is a more preferable composition range depending on the required characteristics. The alloys of the present invention described above are effective for eyeglass parts that are particularly required to have machinability, and are suitable for hinges, for example. The free-cutting property as the hinge is a depth of 2.5 mm or more that can be drilled in a load of 13 kg and a time of 30 seconds using a straight drill having a diameter of 3 mm, and further preferably 3 mm or more, and the alloy of the present invention has the required characteristics. To satisfy.

(Examples of the Invention) Examples of the present invention will be described. The hot workability and free-cutting property in manufacturing eyeglass frames from the alloys shown in Table 1 were further measured, and the corrosion resistance of the products was measured. As a measuring method, a straight drill with a diameter of 3 mm was used as the measuring method, a hole was drilled under the condition of a load of 13 kg for 30 seconds, and the depth was measured. Corrosion resistance was 1.0% salt, 0.2% urea, 0.03% sodium sulfide, Corrosion is measured by repeated immersion for 10 minutes in artificial sweat consisting of 0.02% sugar, 0.02% ammonia water, 0.1% lactic acid, and residual water, and drying for 10 minutes.
It was measured visually at 0 ° C and a reduction rate of 50%. The evaluation here is as follows.
