"Prior Art" In general, a scintillation detector, as shown in Fig. 6, emits light when radiation is incident (1).
And a photodetector (2) such as a photomultiplier for detecting the emitted light. Conventionally, the scintillator (1) and the photodetector (2) have been simply coupled with a coupling agent (3) having a light transmitting property, such as silicon grease. Especially, when a coupling agent having high adhesiveness is required, a silicone RTV rubber has been used.

[Problems to be solved by the device] The scintillator (1) can be used almost semipermanently and is expensive, while the photodetector (2) is often replaced after a certain period of use. However, the coupling agent (3)
When a silicon RTV rubber having high adhesion is used as the above, it is extremely difficult to separate the scintillator (1) and the photodetector (2). For example, when peeling with a sharp blade, the expensive scintillator (1) may be damaged or damaged.

"Means for Solving the Problem" The present invention is one in which a scintillator is bonded to the photocathode of a photodetector by a coupling agent, and a stripping fine wire is sandwiched between the bonding surfaces.

"Operation" Nylon threads, piano wires, and other thin wires for peeling are sandwiched together with the coupling agent on the bonding surface to bond them together. Peel off the photodetector. The coupling agent remaining after peeling is scraped off by polishing or the like.

In FIGS. 1 and 2, (2) is a photodetector, and a thin wire (5) with a thickness of about 0.1 mm is sandwiched between the photocathode (4) of the photodetector (2) and the cup. Scintillator with ring agent (3)
Attach (1). At this time, the fine line (5) is positioned as close as possible to the end of the scintillator (1) so as not to interfere with the transmission of light. Further, the gap between the scintillator (1) and the photodetector (2) is kept constant, and it takes about one day to cure the coupling agent (3), but the scintillator (1) should not tilt during that time. Therefore, the thin wire (5) also acts as a spacer at both ends.

When removing the scintillator (1) from the photodetector (2), use the thin wire (5).
Pull so that the coupling agent (3) is cut or peeled by holding both ends of. The remaining coupling agent (3) is ground with a file or grindstone.

Also, as shown in FIG. 4, only one thin wire (5) may be used. In this case, one end is fixed to the photodetector (2) and the other end is rotated in the direction of the arrow. Alternatively, the coupling agent (3) may be cut or peeled off.

FIG. 5 shows an example in which a heating wire such as a nichrome wire is used as the thin wire (5). And the scintillator (1) is the photodetector
When peeling from (5), insert the switch (6) and connect the thin wire (5) to the power supply (7).
When coupled to, the fine wire (5) will generate heat and the coupling agent (3) will be easily peeled off.
Pull the coupling agent (3) so as to cut or peel it.
