色の塗料にてフラットな塗膜を形成し、次いでこの塗膜
上には微細片状の金属箔を含む前記塗料と同色系の塗料
にてシボ模様を形成し、該シボ模様の乾燥後において前
記塗膜及びシボ模様上には、金属箔を含まないクリア塗
料の塗膜を、シボ模様のシボ部が山部となるように凹凸

料)は所定の着色顔料を含むものである。金属箔の混合
量は従来の場合と同様である。なお、金属箔の混合量が

るように、適宜手段にて凹凸状に塗装されクリア塗膜5

(発明の効果) 以上説明したように本発明によれば、被塗装面には金属
箔を含む塗料にてフラットな塗膜を形成し、この塗膜上
には微細片状の金属箔を含む前記塗料と同色系の塗料に
てシボ模様を形成し、フラットな塗膜とシボ模様上に金
属箔を含まないクリヤ塗料を、シボ模様のシボ部が山部
となるように凹凸状に塗布するため、3回の塗装工程と
1回の焼付け処理にて実施可能であり、従来のように、
4回の塗布工程と3回の焼付け処理をする場合に較べ
て、工程処理数を減らし実施し易いものである。そして
本発明にて形成された塗装面は従来の場合と同等のメタ
リック色シボ模様の良好な仕上りとなり、仕上り性に何

シボ模様の塗装をするに際し、被塗装面には微細片状の
金属箔を含む所定色の塗料にてフラットな塗膜を形成
し、次いでこの塗膜上には微細片状の金属箔を含む前記
塗料と同色系の塗料にてシボ模様を形成し、該シボ模様
の乾燥後において前記塗膜及びシボ模様上には、金属箔
を含まないクリヤ塗料の塗膜を、シボ模様のシボ部が山
部となるように凹凸状に形成し、焼付け処理することを
特徴とするメタリック色シボ模様の塗装方法。1.
