[Industrial applications]

The present invention relates to a coin sorting device that sorts coins that have been thrown in batches one by one by an inclined disc, and sorts them into coins after identification.

【0002】[0002]

[Prior art]

As a conventional coin sorting device, for example, a device described in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 61-251989 is known.

This has an inclined disc and a coin passage, a pair of sprockets and an endless chain are provided at the back of the coin passage, and the engagement pins of the endless chain are extended and projected forward at predetermined intervals. A single groove is formed in the coin passage along the conveying direction, and the engaging pin projects forward through the groove. On the other hand, in order to feed coins one by one between the pins on the periphery of the inclined rotating disk, notches are formed at the same intervals as the forming pitch of each pin, and the rotating disk and the endless chain drive rotate synchronously. To be done.

Further, a coin discriminating portion is provided in the middle of the coin passage, and a plurality of coin separating portions are provided at predetermined intervals further downstream. The coin sorting portion is provided with a branch piece that covers the lower edge of the coin that is covered from the front side of the passage and that is inclined. Then, when a coin to be sorted is conveyed, this branch piece is moved forward to drop and sort the coin.

[Problems to be solved by the device]

However, in the conventional coin sorting device, the drive of the rotating disk and the endless chain must be synchronized in order to reliably insert the pin of the endless chain into the notch on the peripheral edge of the rotating disk, which complicates control. .

Moreover, in the coin sorting section, since the branch piece covers the passage, it is difficult to perform maintenance such as clearing the clogging and cleaning the coin passage. In addition, since the branch of coins relies on free fall, reliable branching cannot be performed unless the transport speed is slowed. Furthermore, since a single groove is opened over the entire coin passage, foreign matter may enter the mechanism and cause a failure.

The present invention has been made in view of such a point, and receives coins sent from the rotating disc one by one without synchronizing the rotation of the rotating disc and the conveyance in the coin passage. It is an object of the present invention to provide a coin sorting device that can be transported into a passage, can be reliably sorted even if the transport speed of coins in the coin passage is increased, can easily maintain the coin passage, and can prevent failures due to foreign matter entering. To do.

[Means for Solving the Problems]

The present invention is a coin sorting device that sorts coins that have been thrown in batches one by one by the rotating disc 12 and, after identification, sorts them into denominations by a belt 42 stretched from above the rotating disc 12 to the outside. A guide member 26 that is provided so as to face the belt 42 and forms the coin passage 21 with the belt 42, and is provided on the guide member 26 side of the belt 42 with a gap wider than the diameter of the maximum diameter coin. A plurality of protrusions 43, a denomination determining means 91 provided in the coin passage 21 for determining the denomination of the coin to be conveyed, and a plurality of receiving openings that are opened in the guide member 26 and receive the coin to be conveyed.

In the present invention, the coins paid out by the rotary disc 12 are received in the space surrounded by the two protrusions 43 of the belt 42, the guide member 26 and the belt 42, and the coin passage 21 is mainly pushed by the rear protrusion 43. Is transported inside. Then, the coin conveyed in the coin passage 21 is denomination-determined by the denomination determination means 91, and when it reaches the vicinity immediately before the corresponding receiving holes 92, 93, 94, the sorting member 95 is rotated to the shielding position. And is received in the receiving holes 92, 93, 94 opened through the distribution member 95. At the positions of the receiving holes 92, 93, and 94 that do not correspond, the sorting member 95 is at a position to close the receiving holes 92, 93, and 94, and coins pass through.

A configuration of an embodiment in which the coin sorting device of the present invention is applied to a circulation type coin depositing / dispensing machine will be described below with reference to the drawings.

In FIG. 8, reference numeral 1 denotes a machine body, and a coin receiving port 2 which doubles as a depositing port and a dispensing port is opened in the front upper part of the operator side of the machine body 1, and inside the coin receiving port 2 is a top surface. An approximately gutter-shaped coin receiving portion 3 having an opening is provided, and a discharge opening 5 opened and closed by a shutter 4 is opened at the bottom of the coin receiving portion 3 and a receiving opening 6 is opened at the side. There is.

Below the coin receiving portion 3, there is arranged a storing and feeding portion 11 for storing the coins discharged from the discharge port 5 and feeding the coins one by one. The storage / feeding unit 11 is composed of a rotary disk 12 which is axially supported in an inclined manner, and a hopper 13 which stores coins between the rotary disk 12 so as to cover the surface side of the rotary disk 12. There is.

As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the rotary disk 12 is attached to the rotary shaft 14 in a state in which it is slightly inclined with respect to the horizontal direction, and is driven by a drive mechanism 51, which will be described later, to normally rotate when coins are fed (in the drawings) The direction of the solid line arrow) and the reverse rotation (the direction of the broken line arrow) when the coin jam is cleared. At the peripheral edge of the surface of the rotary disk 12, a recess 16 having a width wider than the diameter of the maximum diameter coin processed through the step portion 15 is formed. A plurality of elongated holes 17 which are long in the rotational direction are formed through the concavity 16 along concentric circles, and the intervals between the elongated holes 17 are set to be larger than the diameter of the largest coin to be processed.

On the back side of the rotary disk 12, a leaf spring 18 is attached to the edge of each elongated hole 17 on the forward rotation direction side, and the leaf spring 18 projects from the surface of the rotary disk 12 through the elongated hole 17. Pin 19 is attached. When the coin is jammed during the rotation of the rotary disc 12, the pin 19 retracts from the front surface to the back surface of the rotary disc 12 to eliminate the coin jam. Further, a chamfered portion 20 is formed at the tip of the pin 19 on the side of the reverse rotation direction. This is because when the rotary disk 12 is reversely rotated to clear the jam of coins, the ejection piece 32 described later is used. This is because the coin is dropped into the hopper 13 without being caught between the pin 19 and the pin 19 located at the position where the ejecting piece 32 passes. The amount of protrusion of the pin 19 from the surface of the rotating disk 12 (when the pin 19 is not retracted) is set smaller than the thickness of the thinnest coin, and the coins are not scraped up in an overlapping state.

A coin passage 21 that receives and conveys coins fed from the rotary disc 12 is connected to the upper part of the rotary disc 12. This coin passage 21 includes an upwardly sloping introduction passage portion 22 connected to the upper part of the rotary disc 12, a horizontal classification passage portion 23 connected to the introduction passage portion 22, and a classification passage portion 23 from its end. It is composed of a return passage portion 24 that is folded back upward in an arc shape, and a delivery passage portion 25 that is connected to the end of the return passage portion 24 and that conveys from the upper region of the sorting passage portion 23 toward the coin receiving portion 3. .

Each of the passage portions 22 to 25 of the coin passage 21 is formed by a guide member 26 arranged in the same inclined state as the rotating disc 12. The guide member 26 is formed with a passage surface portion 27 that conveys the surface of the coin in contact with it, and a guide edge portion 28 that guides the lower edge portion of the coin at the lower edge of the passage surface portion 27. In addition, at the end of the guide member 26 facing the rotating disk 12, an introducing surface portion 30 projecting to the back side via the inclined surface portion 29 of the passage surface portion 27 is provided on the same surface as the surface of the rotating disk 12, and the introducing surface portion is provided. An introduction portion 31 is formed between 30 and a coin transfer belt 42 described later, which is wider than the distance between the other passage surface portion 27 and the belt and facilitates the introduction of coins. Further, the guide edge portion 28 of the guide member 26 is provided with a continuous ejection piece 32 for taking in the coins scraped up by the rotary disc 12 into the coin passage 21. The ejection piece 32 is a concave portion of the rotary disc 12. A passage groove 33 is formed on the surface of 16 so as to face it at an interval such that coins cannot pass therethrough and through which the pin 19 passes.

Further, a conveying means 41 for conveying coins is provided along each of the passage portions 22 to 25 of the coin passage 21. The carrying means 41 is formed by an endless coin carrying belt 42. The coin transport belt 42 is provided with a plurality of protrusions 43 at intervals wider than the diameter of the maximum-diameter coin to be processed along the side facing the guide member 26. The pulley portion 44 of the second drive transmission member 62 and the other plurality of guide pulleys 45 are stretched. Then, the coin transport belt 42 rotates forward (in the direction of the solid line arrow in the drawing) by the drive mechanism 51 to transport the coins in the coin passage 21, and the coin transport speed is the payout of the coins dispensed by the rotary disk 12. It's slightly faster than speed.

In addition, in the introduction section 31, the distance d1 between the rotary disc 12 and the coin transport belt 42 is set to be slightly larger than the thickness of the thickest coin to be processed, and the protrusion 43 of the rotary disc 12 and the coin transport belt 42 is set. Since the distance d2 between the coin is set smaller than the thickness of the thinnest coin, the coin scraped up by the pin 19 of the rotating disk 12 (if it is a normal coin) is conveyed by the protrusion 43 of the coin conveying belt 42. While being processed, it is taken into the coin passage 21. Further, since the distance d3 between the guide member 26 and the coin transport belt 42 other than the introduction section 31 is set to be slightly smaller than the thickness of the thinnest coin, the coin taken into the coin passage 21 passes through the introduction section 31. When it reaches the introduction passage portion 22, it is conveyed while being lightly pressed against the guide member 26, and the identification in the identification portion 91 described later is accurate.

Next, FIGS. 4 and 5 show a drive mechanism 51 for the rotating disk 12 and the coin transport belt 42. A drive motor 52 capable of forward / reverse driving is arranged below the rotary disk 12, and a pulley 54 attached to a drive shaft 53 of the drive motor 52 and a rotary shaft 55 rotatably supported above the rotary disk 12. A drive transmission belt 57 is stretched between the attached pulley 56.

A gear 58 is attached to the rotary shaft 55, a gear group 59 is meshed with the gear 58, and a gear 60 mounted on the rotary shaft 14 of the rotary disk 12 is meshed with the gear group 59. ing. Therefore, the rotating disk 12 is normally and reversely rotated by the forward and reverse drive of the drive motor 52.

A one-way clutch mechanism 64, which is composed of a first drive transmission member 61, a second drive transmission member 62 and a spring 63 and which transmits only the positive rotation of the rotation shaft 55 to the coin transport belt 42, is attached to the rotation shaft 55. Has been.

The first drive transmission member 61 is formed in a cylindrical shape having a fitting hole 65 that fits into the rotating shaft 55, and has an end face facing the second drive transmission member 62 in a spiral shape in the forward rotation direction. An engaging portion 67 having a step 66 protruding is formed. A through hole 68 is formed on the peripheral surface of the first drive transmission member 61 so as to penetrate through the fitting hole 65, and the tip of the pin 69 press-fitted into the through hole 68 is formed on the rotary shaft 55 along the axial direction. The long groove 70 is fitted. The first drive transmission member 61 rotates forward and backward integrally with the rotary shaft 55 due to the engagement of the pin 69 and the long groove 70, and the pin 69 moves in the axial direction within the range in which the pin 69 moves in the long groove 70. It is movable and is biased by the spring 63 toward the second drive transmission member 62.

The second drive transmission member 62 is formed in a cylindrical shape having a fitting hole 71 that fits into the rotary shaft 55, and has an end surface facing the first drive transmission member 61 in a direction opposite to the normal rotation direction. An engaging portion 73 having a stepped portion 72 that spirally protrudes is formed on the outer peripheral surface, and the pulley portion 44 around which the coin conveying belt 42 is wound is formed on the peripheral surface. The second drive transmission member 62 is rotatably attached to the rotating shaft 55 so that it cannot move in the axial direction.

When the drive motor 52 is normally rotated, the first drive transmission member 61 rotates forward together with the rotary shaft 55, and the first drive transmission member 61 is attached toward the second drive transmission member 62. Since the engaging portions 67, 73 of the first drive transmission member 61 and the second drive transmission member 62 are engaged with each other by being biased, the normal rotation of the first drive transmission member 61 is transmitted to the second drive transmission member 62. Further, the normal rotation of the second drive transmission member 62 is transmitted to the coin transport belt 42. On the other hand, when the drive motor 52 is reversely rotated, the first drive transmission member 61 is reversely rotated integrally with the rotary shaft 55, but the engaging portion 67 between the first drive transmission member 61 and the second drive transmission member 62 is 73 does not mesh, and only the first drive transmission member 61 pushes and contracts the spring 63 and moves in the axial direction so as to move away from the second drive transmission member 62 and reversely rotates. The rotation is not transmitted, and the coin transport belt 42 does not rotate in the reverse direction.

As described above, when the drive motor 52 is normally rotated, the rotary disk 12 and the coin transport belt 42 are normally rotated to feed and transport the coins, but when the drive motor 52 is rotated in the reverse direction. The rotating disk 12 is reversed, and the coin transport belt 42 does not move. That is, while the rotating disk 12 and the coin transport belt 42 are driven by the single drive motor 52, the coins in the coin passage 21 are prevented from flowing backward during the bite release operation.

Further, as shown in FIG. 8 and FIG. 9, a return port 82 that is opened and closed by an opening and closing plate 81 is formed at the lower end of the hopper 13 of the storage and delivery section 11, and communicates with this return port 82. When the deposit is accepted, that is, when the deposit approval button is operated, the coins held in each temporary holding section 111 are retracted by the withdrawal of the ejection plate 115 and the lowering of the support member 116 to store the coins. The overflow coins on the coin transport conveyor 121 are discharged and stored in the coin collection box 125 by the drive of the coin transport conveyor 121.

Further, when the deposit is not recognized, that is, when the deposit return button is operated, the coin temporarily held in the temporary holding unit 111 by the movement of the temporary holding frame 112 is discharged to the coin transport conveyer 121. The coins discharged from the temporary holding unit 111 and the overflow coins held on the coin transfer conveyor 121 are transferred to the storing / feeding unit 11 by the coin transfer conveyor 121, and are fed from the storage / feeding unit 11 to pass the coin passage. 21 is conveyed and returned to the coin receiving portion 3 from the end of the sending passage portion 25.

Next, the withdrawal process will be described.

On the basis of input of a dispensed money value (amount or denomination and number of coins) and a dispense operation command, coins stacked and stored in the storage cylinder portion 114 of the dispensed coin storage / dispensing portion 113 are thrown out plate 115. The coins are sequentially discharged onto the conveyor 121. The coin transport conveyor 121 is driven in a state in which the dispensing of coins of the dispensed money value has been completed. The coins dispensed on the coin transport conveyor 121 are transported to the storage / feeding unit 11 by the coin transport conveyor 121, and are dispensed from the storage / feeding unit 11 to be transported in the coin passage 21. The coins conveyed in the coin passage 21 are identified by the identifying unit 91, and the denominations that are dispensed from the dispensed coin storing and dispensing unit 113 and the denominations that make up the dispensed money value in which the number of coins are specified. And the number of coins matches. The coins identified by the identification unit 91 as being appropriate for dispensing are thrown out to the coin receiving unit 3 from the end of the sending passage unit 25.

Further, the abnormal coin that is identified as abnormal by the identifying unit 91 is dropped from the receiving hole 94 and is stored in the reject coin storage unit 123 of the reject coin storage box 123 through the suit 103. Then, the coin of the denomination collected as the abnormal coin by the dispensing operation is again dispensed, the denomination and the number of coins are confirmed by the identifying unit 91, and the coin is dispensed to the coin receiving unit 3.

Then, after a predetermined time (after a predetermined time when all the dispensed coins are sent to the coin receiving portion 3) after the completion of the dispensing operation of the dispensed coins, the dispensed money in which the denomination and the number of coins dispensed are designated. On condition that the denomination that composes the monetary value and the number of coins are the same, the shutter of the coin receiving port 2 is opened and the coins withdrawn can be taken out. Further, after taking out the dispensed coins, the shutter of the coin receiving port 2 is closed at a predetermined time, and the standby state is restored.

Next, the coin replenishment process will be described.

When the coins in any one of the storage cylinders 114 of the dispensing coin storage / dispensing unit 113 are less than a predetermined amount, the coins are mounted on the machine body 1 (or, if necessary, The shutter 133 of the replenishment coin storage unit 132 of one denomination corresponding to the reduced storage cylinder unit 114 of the coin replenishment cassette 131 was driven by the solenoid 136 and stored in the replenishment coin storage unit 132. The supplementary coins are collectively discharged, guided by a chute (not shown), and supplied onto the coin transport conveyor 121.

The coins supplied to the coin transport conveyor 121 are transported to the storage / feeding unit 11 by the coin transport conveyor 121, fed from the storage / feeding unit 11 to the coin passage 21, and identified by the identification unit 91, and the corresponding Through the chute 101 from the receiving hole 92 of the denomination to be filled and stored in the storage cylinder portion 114. At this time, the ejection plate 115 is in the retracted state, and the coins are stored in the storage cylinder portion 114 without being temporarily stored in the temporary storage frame 112.

Further, coins identified as abnormal coins by the identification unit 91 are stored in the storage unit for abnormal coins of the reject coin storage box 123 through the chute 103 from the receiving hole 94.

When a coin replenishment cassette 131 is provided with a plurality of replenishment coin storage portions 132 for storing coins of the same denomination, when replenishing coins of a denomination, the coins are ejected in a preset order. It has become.

The coins replenished from the coin replenishing cassette 131 are managed as the coin amount stored in the storing cylinder portion 114 is added to the already stored coin amount as in the case of the deposit processing. .

Further, the number of coins in the denomination storing cylinder portion 114 having the dispensed coin storing / discharging portion 113 is reduced below a predetermined amount, and the replenished coins of the reduced denomination have already been discharged from the coin replenishment cassette 131. When the coins are collected, the delivery conveyor 126 of the coin collecting box 125 is driven, the coins stored in the coin collecting box 125 are conveyed to the storing and feeding section 11, and are fed from the storing and feeding section 11 to the coin passage 21. It is identified by the identifying unit 91, and is replenished and stored in the storage cylinder unit 114 through the chute 101 from the receiving hole 92 of the deficient denomination. At this time, the denomination coins whose fullness of the storage cylinder 114 has been detected are discharged from the receiving hole 93 to the coin transport conveyor 121 through the chute 102, and are returned from the coin transport conveyor 121 to the coin recovery box 125. The abnormal coin is stored in the storage section for the abnormal coins of the reject coin storage box 123 through the chute 103 through the receiving hole 94.

In the depositing process and the dispensing process, the uncollected coins such as the deposited coins returned to the coin receiving unit 3 and the dispensed coins dispensed to the coin receiving unit 3 are stored in the storage feeding unit 11 as The coins are stored in the reject coin storage box 123 from the receiving hole 94 through the chute 103 through the coin passage 21 (normal coins are stored in the normal coin storage unit, and abnormal coins are stored in the abnormal coin dedicated storage unit).

Further, the amount of coins in and out of each storage cylinder 114 and the coin collection box 125 is calculated by a control device (not shown) for each deposit and withdrawal process, and is stored in the storage unit. Will be managed. Furthermore, the amount of coins stored in the coin replenishment cassette 131 is not managed for inventory, and data management is simply performed to determine whether the coins in each replenishment coin storage unit 132 are discharged or not.

Next, the coin collecting process in the machine body 1 will be described.

The coins stored in the dispensed coin storage / dispensing unit 113 are sequentially dispensed by the dispensing plate 115 to the coin transport conveyor 121, and are transported to the storage and dispensing unit 11 by this coin transport conveyor 121. The coins stored in the coin collection box 125 are delivered to the storage and delivery section 11 by the delivery conveyor 126. The coins fed to the storing and delivering section 11 are delivered to the coin passage 21 and stored in the reject coin storage box 123 through the chute 103 from the receiving hole 94 while the identification section 91 identifies the denomination and the number of coins.

In this way, all coins other than the coins remaining in the coin replenishment cassette 131 in the machine body 1 are collected and stored in the reject coin storage box 123 (normal coins are used as normal coin storage units and abnormal coins are used as abnormal coins only). The reject coin storage box 123, which has been clarified by calculating the number of coins and the total amount of coins stored in the storage unit and collected and stored, is taken out of the machine 1.

Next, the rotation driving operation of the rotary disk 12 will be described. Normally, the normal rotation of the drive motor 52 causes the rotary disk 12 to rotate normally, and the coins in the hopper 13 are delivered to the coin passage 21. When a coin is about to be jammed during the rotation of the rotary disc 12, the pin 19 supported by the plate bar 18 is retracted from the front surface of the rotary disc 12 to the back surface side, and the coin jam is cleared.

Further, if the rotary disc 12 does not rotate normally due to the biting of coins, the identification unit 91 does not detect the coin for a predetermined time even if the rotary disc 12 rotates normally, and the coin remains in the hopper 13. When coins are being detected, the drive motor 52 is rotated in the reverse direction based on these detection conditions, the rotary disk 12 is rotated in the reverse direction, and the jam of coins and the inability to dispense coins are eliminated. Furthermore, when collecting foreign matter that is not sent out by the rotating disk 12 during deposit processing, the drive motor 52 is repeatedly rotated in the forward and reverse directions with the opening of the opening / closing plate 81 of the hopper 13 as a detection condition, and the rotating disk 12 is rotated normally. Repeated rotation and reverse rotation ensure that the foreign matter is discharged.

When the drive motor 52 rotates in the reverse direction, the rotary disk 12 rotates in the reverse direction, but the coin transport belt 42 does not rotate in the reverse direction by the one-way clutch mechanism 64 of the drive mechanism 51, and the coins in the coin passage 21 do not flow backward. In the above-described embodiment, when discharging the temporarily held coins, the dispensed coins, and the replenishment coins to the coin transfer conveyor 121, the coin transfer conveyor 121 may be in the stopped state, or may be intermittently driven when the coins are discharged. The coins may be evenly placed on the coin transport conveyor 121.

Further, the replenishment coin storage part 132 of the coin replenishment cassette 131 does not have to be provided corresponding to the storage cylinder part 114 of the withdrawal coin storage / dispensing part 113, and only coins of a denomination requiring additional replenishment are provided. It can also be used as a supplementary coin storage unit 132.

Further, the replenishment coin storage section 132 of the coin replenishment cassette 131 can be set and changed as appropriate, and the replenishment coin storage section 132 of the coin replenishment cassette 131 is of one denomination type. You can also do it.

In the above-described embodiment, the replenishment coin storage unit 132 of the coin replenishment cassette 131 is configured to store coins in a stack, but it is not always required to have a cylindrical shape to store stacks of coins in an orderly manner. It can also be a shaped storage part.

Further, in the above-mentioned embodiment, the solenoid 136 of the driving means for driving the shutter 133 of the discharging means of the coin replenishing cassette 131 is provided in the machine body 1. However, it is provided in the coin replenishing cassette 131, and the coin replenishing cassette 131 is provided. The solenoid 136 can be electrically connected to the body 1 side by a connector or the like by mounting the body 1 on the body 1.

Further, in the above-described embodiment, the coin receiving port 2 has the common depositing and dispensing port as the depositing and dispensing port, but the depositing port and the dispensing port may be formed separately.

In addition, in the above-mentioned embodiment, the introduction passage portion 22 is inclined upward, but it is not limited to this structure, and it may be extended substantially horizontally like the classification passage portion 23.

[Effect of device]

According to the present invention, the coin fed out by the rotating disc is received in the space surrounded by the two protrusions of the belt, the guide member and the belt and conveyed in the coin passage, and in the coin passage, the denomination determining means is used. Based on the determination result, the corresponding sorting member rotates to the shielding position that blocks the coin passage, and the coins corresponding to the receiving holes opened through this sorting member can be sorted. Therefore, coins sent from the rotating disc can be received one by one and conveyed in the coin passage without synchronizing the rotation of the rotating disc and the conveyance in the coin passage, and the coin conveying speed in the coin passage can be increased. Even if they are raised, they can be classified reliably, the maintenance of coin passages is easy, and the occurrence of malfunctions due to the entry of foreign matter can be prevented.
