4が設けられている。隔壁5には多数の第2小孔6が穿
設され、第1小孔2を介して排気通路1と第1膨張室3
が連通すると共に、第2小孔6を介して第1膨張室3と
第2膨張室4とが連通し、さらに排気通路1と第2膨張
室4間には連通管7が介装され、排気通路1の流出側開
口は該流入側開口よりも小さく形成されている。第1膨
張室3側の排気通路1壁面および隔壁5面にはステンレ
ス鋼繊維の網状体8が被覆され、第1膨張室3内にはセ
