(問題点を解決するための手段) 本考案は、まず針葉樹原木をロータリーレースにて単板

行に揃えて積層接着してLVLにするものである。針葉樹
材は芯材部と辺材部が明確であり、芯材部のみを取り出
すのが容易である。芯材部は辺材部に比べて収縮率が小
さく、後々狂い難い。従来はこれを一緒にしてLVLを作
成する為、狂いが大きくなる。芯材部のみを用いてなお
狂いを小さくするため最外層と最外層より第3層目に直
交単板を用いる。このような構成にすると、縦反り、横
反りを同時に止めることができるものである。但し、芯
材部における無節材は比較的少ないので、最外層に化粧
単板を貼着する場合欠点が表面に現れないように、広葉
樹材の無節の単板を用いることがある。これは多量生産
する場合の産業利用上、止むを得ない措置である。

ので、その際残った3層目までが合板構成のように互い
に単板が直交していて、大変安定した状態で穴を開ける
ことが出来る。(第2図参照) このような構成にすると、厳しい環境状態にも使用出来
る反り狂いの少ないドアー材を作ることが出来、反り・
狂いを特に嫌う防音ドアーにも使用出来、又金具取り付
けにも安定した状態が保てるなどの作用を有することが
出来るものである。
