ンプピンに電源やスタータを接続する接続部2bとを備え
ている。このソケット2の底面には、第4図に示すよう
に4個の接続孔6を形成してあり、この接続孔6の形成
面は第3図(a)に示すようにソケット2の器具本体
(図示せず)への取付面より寸法Aだけ凹設してある。
なお、第4図に示すようにこの凹所7の中央及び上下端
部はくびれた形状に形成してあり、この凹所7の上下半
分の内周の形状と同一形状にプリント基板3の接続ピン
4の立設部の外周形状を形成してある。つまり、接続ピ
ン4を接続孔6に装着したときに、凹所7内にプリント
基板3の接続ピン4の立設部が嵌り込み、第6図(b)
の矢印イ,ロ方向の力がスタータ1に加わっても、接続
ピン4には力が加わらないようにしてある。上記接続孔
6の内部には第7図に示すように電源線などのリード線
を速結する速結ばね8が設けてある。この速結ばね8
は、ソケット2の接続部2bの内部に形成された蛍光灯の
ランプピンが装着される装着孔9の底面に突設された突
起12で固定してある。また、この速結ばね8は、上記装
着孔9内に収納されたランプピンを弾性的に受ける導電
性を有するピン受け部材10及びスプリング11と電気的に
接続されており、例えば第7図に示すように接続ピン9
を接続孔6に挿入すると、速結ばね8、スプリング11及
びピン受け部材10を介して蛍光灯にスタータ1が接続さ
れる。上記スタータ1のケース5の高さは、第3図に示
すソケット2の口金収納部2aの側方に張出した部分より
も若干高くしてあり、このソケット2側の角部に沿って
第2図(b)に示すように凹部13が形成してある。つま

に、ソケット2の口金収納部2aの張出部14の下部が上記
