2本立設してある。本実施例のソケツト2は片口
金蛍光灯用のソケツトで、第4図に示すように上
部の蛍光灯の口金が挿入される口金収納部2a
と、下部のランプピンに電源やスタータを接続す
る接続部2bとを備える。このソケツト2の底面
には、第5図に示すように4個の接続孔6を形成
してあり、この接続孔6の形成面は第3図aに示
すようにソケツト2の器具本体(図示せず)への
取付面よりも寸法Aだけ凹設してある。なお、第
5図に示すようにこの凹所7の中央及び上下端部
はくびれた形状に形成してあり、この凹所7の上
下半分の内周の形状と同一形状にプリント基板3
の接続ピン4の立設部の外周形状を形成してあ
る。つまり、接続ピン4を接続孔6に装着したと
きに、凹部7内にプリント基板3の接続ピン4の
立設部が嵌まり込み、第1図の矢印イ,ロ方向の
力がスタータ1に加わつても、接続ピン4に力が
加わりにくいようにしてある。上記接続孔6の内
部には、第7図に示すように電源線などのリード
線を速結する速結ばね8が設けてある。この速結
ばね8は、ソケツト2の接続部2bの内部に形成
された蛍光灯のランプピンが装着される装着孔9
の底面に突設された突起12で固定してある。ま
た、この速結ばね8は、上記装着孔9内に収納さ
れたランプピンを弾性的に受ける導電性を有する
ピン受け部材10及びスプリング11と電気的に
接続されており、例えば第7図に示すように接続
ピン9を接続孔6に挿入すると、速結ばね8、ス
プリング11及びピン受け部材10を介して蛍光
灯にスタータ1が接続される。上記スタータ1の
ケース5の高さは、第4図に示すソケツト2の口
金収納部2aの側方に張出した部分よりも若干高
