(Prior Art) Generally, in a recording apparatus of an electric transfer type, as shown in FIG. 2, a recording paper b and an ink film c are sandwiched between a platen a and a recording head f which is pressed against the platen a.
The printing operation is executed by sliding on the ink film c in the energized state. The recording head f is composed of a substrate e and a recording electrode d provided on the substrate e,
The ink film c is composed of a resistance layer and a heat-meltable ink layer. Ceramic or resin is used as the material of the substrate e of the recording head f, and a plurality of recording electrodes d are arranged on the substrate e.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) However, during the printing operation, a part of the resistance layer of the ink film c that comes into contact with the recording head f may peel off due to friction due to sliding or heat generation due to energization. The peeled resistance layer (hereinafter, referred to as a print residue) adheres to the tip portion of the recording head f and is sequentially deposited while the printing operation is repeated, resulting in a marked deterioration of the print image quality. Further, when the amount of retreat g increases due to abrasion due to sliding, a situation may occur in which the transferability of ink deteriorates.

First, in the recording head f using a ceramic substrate, since the amount of print dust attached and accumulated is large and the amount of wear of the substrate due to sliding with the ink film c is small, this print dust is hardly removed. For this reason, a method has been adopted in which the adherence of such printing dust is lapped with a polishing sheet or the like at any time to remove the adhered matter at the tip of the recording head f to prevent the print quality from deteriorating. However, such a method is very time-consuming and has a problem of reducing user convenience. Further, the recording head f using the ceramic substrate has a problem that the manufacturing cost of the recording head f is extremely high in the steps of forming and firing the recording electrode pattern.

Next, in the recording head f using the resin substrate, the amount of wear due to sliding is much larger than that of the ceramic substrate, the adhesion and accumulation of printing dust is very small, and the deterioration of the print image quality is considerably small. become. However, there is a problem that durability is poor due to a large amount of wear. here,
If the amount of wear is large, the amount of retreat g increases with the progress of wear, and the contact area with the ink film c increases. For this reason, the pressure for pressing the recording head f against the ink film c is reduced, the adhesion and accumulation of print debris is increased, and the transferability of ink is deteriorated due to the increase of the retreat amount g
This causes a situation in which the print quality is degraded.

(Means for Solving Problems) An electro-conductive transfer recording head of the present invention is an electro-conductive recording head that performs a printing operation by being pressed against a platen with a recording paper and an ink film interposed therebetween and sliding on the ink film in an energized state. In the energizing recording head, a plurality of recording electrodes are arranged in the sliding direction with respect to the ink film at appropriate intervals at least on a sliding portion with the ink film on a substrate made of a synthetic resin having an insulating property. On the other hand, a plurality of grooves are formed in the sliding direction with respect to the ink film at appropriate intervals on at least a portion of the back surface of the substrate that slides with the ink film.

(Function) When a resin is used for the substrate of the recording head, the amount of abrasion due to sliding is much larger than that of ceramics, so that the adhesion and accumulation of printing dust is significantly reduced. Furthermore, by providing the groove processing on the tip portion of the substrate, it is possible to suppress an increase in the contact area with the ink film due to abrasion.

First, a description will be given of a case where a printing test is performed on a phenol resin substrate and a forsterite (ceramic) substrate which are not grooved, using each recording head in which recording electrodes are arranged similarly to the above recording head. The printing conditions are as follows: the recording paper and the ink film are sandwiched, and the sliding portion of the recording head is pressed against the platen at an angle of 25 degrees.
Print while sliding on the ink film at a speed of 0 DPS. As a result, on the false light substrate, the deterioration of the print image quality due to the printing residue began to occur after printing the ink film of about 100 m, whereas on the resin substrate, the print image quality was almost deteriorated even after printing the ink film of about 2 km. There wasn't. Further, the abrasion amount of the recording film sliding portion by the ink film at this time is 2.9 × 10 −3 mm 3 in the recording head using the fillsterite substrate per 1 cm of the recording head pressure contact portion when the ink film is printed 400 m. 3.6 x 10 -2 mm with recording head using phenol resin substrate
Was 3 . As described above, since the amount of wear of the resin-based recording head is about 10 times larger than that of the ceramic-based recording head, the worn surface of the recording head is constantly polished, and the adhesion and accumulation of printing dust is extremely large. This is very effective because the maintenance of the polishing sheet and the like can be largely omitted because the deterioration of the print quality is reduced. Further, since the resin substrate is inexpensive and excellent in workability, and the recording electrode can be formed at low cost by adhesion, plating, etc., it is possible to provide a cheaper recording head.

Next, the recording head of the present invention in which the resin substrate is grooved is compared with the recording head in which the resin substrate is not grooved. As a result, in the recording head which was not grooved, the retreat amount was about 400 μm when printing the ink film 4 to 5 km, and the transferability was deteriorated. However, the resin substrate was grooved as shown in FIG. In the recording head, the worn surface of the sliding portion due to the ink film is as shown by the dotted line 4 in FIG. 1. Therefore, even if the worn state after printing for about 20 km, the retreat amount is constant at about 250 μm in the groove portion 1a. Therefore, the transferability did not deteriorate due to the increase in the receding amount of the rim portion 1b.

(Effect of the Invention) As described above, according to the present invention, a plurality of grooves are formed in the sliding direction with respect to the ink film at appropriate intervals at least on the portion of the back surface of the substrate that slides with the ink film. By doing so, it is possible to suppress the amount of friction receding at this sliding portion due to sliding with the ink film,
It is possible to prevent deterioration of transferability due to an increase in the amount of retreat, and it is possible to provide an electrotransfer recording head having high durability.

Also, by using a grooved synthetic resin substrate, the adhesion and accumulation of print debris on the tip of the recording head is greatly reduced, and the deterioration of the printed image quality is also reduced. Can be omitted. Further, the synthetic resin substrate is inexpensive and excellent in workability, and the recording electrode can be formed at low cost by adhesion, plating, etc., so that a cheaper recording head can be provided.
