Abstract

PURPOSE:To produce the leather cloth having a surface free from unevenness and resistive to soiling by forming an adhesive layer containing a high-lustering agent on one side of a base fabric and bonding a transparent sheet thereto. CONSTITUTION:An adhesive containing a lustering agent 2 (e.g. pearl pigment or metal powder) is applied to one side of a woven (or knitted) base fabric 1 so as to form an adhesive layer 3. A transparent or semi-transparent sheet- shaped material 4 (e.g. polyvinyl chloride sheet) is bonded through the adhesive layer 3 thereto. A mirror finish is then applied thereto so as to form a flat surface free from unevenness. Thereby, the objective leather cloth resistant to soiling and excellent in visual appearance is obtained.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, as decorative materials such as flooring materials, furniture and wall materials, there are materials that give a three-dimensional effect by forming an uneven pattern on the surface. However, when the uneven pattern is formed on the surface as described above, there is a drawback that foreign matters such as dust enter the concave portions and are easily contaminated. Therefore, for example, Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 3-5
As disclosed in Japanese Patent No. 1128, by attaching a back side sheet to an uneven surface side of a front side sheet on which an uneven pattern is formed in advance, a three-dimensional effect is provided by the uneven pattern formed at the interface between the both sheets. In addition, a cosmetic material has been proposed which has a flat surface to prevent stains.

By the way, there is a leather cloth in which a transparent or semi-transparent sheet or a sheet-like material such as a transparent or semi-transparent film is attached to one side of a base fabric via an adhesive layer to give a solid feeling. . In this leather cloth, unlike the decorative material of the above-mentioned proposal example, unevenness is formed by the texture of the warp and weft of the base cloth itself, so that a different sense of luxury from that of the proposal example is created. It can be given, and it is attracting attention in line with the recent trend toward higher grades.

However, in such a leather cloth, since the unevenness is formed on the surface of the base cloth by the texture of the warp and the weft as described above, the sheet-like material is simply pasted. Only with this, there is a drawback that irregularities are formed on the surface corresponding to the texture of the warp and the weft of the base fabric, and foreign matters such as dust enter the concave portions and are easily soiled.

Further, when the sheet-like material is attached to the base cloth, the base cloth is coated with the adhesive. Therefore, if the degree of impregnation of the coated adhesive into the base cloth is partially different, the surface gloss is reduced. It is not uniform over the whole, and the appearance is spoiled. This tendency is particularly strong when the base cloth is made of glossy yarn.

The present invention has been made in view of the above points, and an object of the present invention is to mix an appropriate substance into the adhesive layer formed on the laminating surface side of the base cloth and to carry out after laminating. By subjecting the sheet-like material to post-processing, it is possible to eliminate surface irregularities to make it less likely to stain and to provide a leather cloth having an improved appearance due to a substance mixed in the adhesive layer.

In order to achieve the above object, the means for solving the problems of the present invention is to form an adhesive layer containing a glittering material on one surface of a base fabric. Further, a transparent or translucent sheet-like material is attached to the above-mentioned base cloth via the adhesive layer. Moreover, it means that the sheet-like material is mirror-finished after being laminated.

With the above structure, in the present invention, the transparent or semi-transparent sheet-like material is mirror-finished after being bonded to the base cloth, and therefore, the surface of the base cloth is compatible with the texture of warp and weft. The unevenness formed by the above does not appear on the surface of the sheet-like material, and the surface of the sheet-like material becomes flat, and even if foreign matter such as dust adheres, it can be easily removed and it becomes difficult to stain.

Further, since the adhesive layer formed on one surface of the base cloth contains the glittering material, the direction of the reflected light changes due to the unevenness of the texture of the base cloth, and the texture of the cloth stands out. The state is clearly expressed and the three-dimensional effect is outstanding. Furthermore, even if the degree of impregnation of the coated adhesive into the base fabric is partially different, the surface of the base fabric is not covered by the glittering material and cannot be seen, and the base fabric is liable to have uneven surface gloss. Even if it is configured, the glittering material provides a stable gloss and improves the appearance.

The procedure for laminating the sheet-like material 4 is carried out by a calendar topping method, as shown in FIG. 3, for example. That is, the resin raw material 13 is passed through a plurality of calender rolls 14, 14, ... to be molded into a transparent sheet material 4 having a predetermined thickness, and the molded sheet material 4 and the adhesive layer 3 are formed. Further, the above-mentioned sheet-like material 4 is mirror-finished by a polishing roll or the like after being laminated, so that the surface is formed flat. The procedure of the mirror surface processing is shown in FIG.
As shown in FIG. 4, the bonded body 16 of the base cloth 1 and the sheet-like material 4 is heated by the heater 19 while being moved along the heating drum 18 via the guide roll 17 to soften the sheet-like material 4, and then the rubber roll 20. The surface of the sheet 4 that has been softened by passing through the glazing roll 21 is pressed by the glazing roll 21 to form a flat surface having no unevenness.

Further, in the above embodiment, since the glittering material 2 is contained in the adhesive layer 3 formed on one surface of the base cloth 1, the direction of the reflected light depends on the unevenness of the texture of the base cloth 1. It can be changed, which allows the texture to be embossed and clearly expressed to enhance the three-dimensional effect. Furthermore, since the surface of the base cloth 1 is covered with the glitter material 2, even if the degree of impregnation of the coated adhesive 10 into the base cloth 1 is partially different, the glitter material 2 provides a stable gloss. You can get it and make it look good.
