As the branch pipe that connects the tubes in the heat exchanger,
As shown in FIG. 4, a plate-shaped core material whose outer surface is coated with a brazing material is bent into a circular cross section, and the abutting portion of the core material is electro-welded and the end is opened. , Known from the past. In this conventional product, the open end has to be closed with a lid, and the portion welded by electric resistance rises up on the inner and outer surfaces, so it is necessary to cut that portion. By cutting the electric resistance welded portion, the brazing material in that portion is also cut off, so that a hole for connecting a tube cannot be formed in the electric resistance welded portion and its vicinity. That is, there is a drawback in that the position for opening the tube connection hole is restricted. Further, since the electric resistance welded portion may be weakened, if the diameter is expanded or reduced to connect the pipe, the welded portion may be cracked.

According to the present invention, a core material whose both surfaces are coated with a brazing material is integrally formed by press molding, and it is not necessary to close the end portion with a lid, and the opening position of the tube connection hole is not restricted, and the opening is not limited. (EN) Provided is a branch pipe for a heat exchanger, which can be expanded or reduced in diameter on the end side with ease.

In the present invention, since the core material coated with the brazing material on both sides is formed into a tubular shape by press forming, the core material is brazed with the brazing material on both sides, and the core material is bent into a circular shape and butt welded. There is no need for welding, so that there is no portion where the brazing material is absent due to the cutting of that portion, and the brazing material is entirely covered. Further, since one end is closed, it is not necessary to close it with the lid.

The present invention is a branch pipe for connecting tubes in a heat exchanger. As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the branch pipe 1 has a brazing material 3 coated on both surfaces of a core material 2. Is formed by press forming such as deep drawing and ironing into a tubular shape and integrally. As the core material 2, there is a plate-like body of A1 containing 0.15% by weight of Cu and 1.0% by weight of Mn, and the brazing material 3
Contains 9.5 wt% Si and 1.5 wt% Mg
There is Al, and a core material 2 having both surfaces coated with the brazing material 3 is press-molded to be integrally formed into a tubular shape having a regular circular cross section. However, it is not limited to this. Materials other than the above may be used for the core material and the brazing material. Further, in the present invention, it is integrally formed in a tubular shape with one end closed by press molding. When the one end is closed as described above, it is not necessary to close the lid.

In the branch pipe 1 of the present invention as described above, the connecting hole 5 of the tube 4 is opened in the longitudinal direction, the tube 4 is inserted into this, and the brazing material 3 on both sides is brazed. Further, the open lower end portion is expanded in diameter, the pipe 6 is inserted and brazed with the brazing material 3. When connecting the pipe 6, the diameter of the lower end of the branch pipe 1 may be reduced.

In addition, as a result of expanding and contracting the diameter of 100 pieces of the product of the present invention and the conventional product welded by electric resistance welding, the number of pieces that were not cracked was 100 pieces of the diameter expansion, 100 pieces of the diameter reduction and the conventional product. Expanded diameter 84, reduced diameter 86
It was an individual.

As described above, according to the present invention, since there is no portion where the core material is butt-welded and welded, the brazing material is entirely covered, and the opening position of the tube connecting hole is restricted. In addition, the hole can be opened at any position, and cracks do not occur even if the diameter is expanded or reduced to connect the pipe. In addition, brazing is performed securely by the brazing material coated on both sides, and since one end is closed, it is not necessary to separately prepare a lid and close it, so that a branch pipe for heat exchangers As a result, various effects can be obtained.
