As described by the applicant in Japanese Patent No. 183618, a canvas is formed on a textured portion formed by removing a part of the wefts of the folded portion that is superposed on the canvas body side and the weft thread of the canvas body located above the canvas. A method in which a binding thread thinner than the weft of the main body is bound and the bent portion is connected to the canvas body is also applied.

なることもあった。(Problems to be solved by the invention) An open mesh canvas of a single woven fabric is usually woven into a coarse plain weave using large diameter monofilaments for warp and weft, and its joint portion is a canvas as described above. It is made by removing the weft yarn at the end bending position of the main body and providing only the warp yarn, and folding back the canvas end portion to form a loop for joining and sewing the bent portion. For this reason, the loop roots on the main body side and the bent side of the joint part tend not to stick to the canvas body due to the rigidity of the canvas and rather open the mouth. Such a load often becomes large and causes damage to the joint portion. Also, in the case of a canvas with a large warp diameter and a high density, the pitch between the loops becomes fine and the meshing of the loops becomes troublesome, or when the canvases are running, the loops rub against each other causing side wear and causing a short life of the joint. There were things.

の寿命を短くするという問題があった。In addition, the bent part of the joint part is overlapped with the canvas body to form a double weave state, resulting in a significant difference in rigidity as compared to the single-woven canvas body, and when passing through a canvas roll etc. during use, the double layer There was a problem of shortening the life of the canvas body because the bending fatigue was concentrated on the boundary line between the portion and the single portion.

That is, a single-woven open mesh dryer canvas in which the warp is made of synthetic resin monofilament, the weft is pulled out at the bending position of the end of the canvas body, and the warp-only portion is provided. In the joint part of the dryer canvas, where the folded part formed by folding back to the main body is overlapped on the main body to form a joining loop, and the overlapped bent part is sewn on the canvas main body, the loop for joining is originally Every other warp in the portion where only the warp is to be formed is stitched to the canvas body side up to the position of the front weft without forming a loop, and a staple of the front weft is formed. The warp ends of the warp are trimmed at the same position between the end of the warp forming the joining loop and the end weft in the bent portion. Which is removed, further out of the bent portion, a joint portion of the papermaking drier canvas, wherein the weft of the portion binding yarn is cut removed has been removed.

Since the gap is wide, the meshing at the time of joining is easy and the friction between the loops is reduced during use. In addition, the yarn end side of the warp forming the binding yarn is trimmed and removed at the same position between the yarn end of the warp forming the joining loop and the tip weft of the bending portion, and further, among the bending portions, Since the weft yarns of the portion where the binding yarn has been cut and removed are removed, the number of warp yarns in the cross section of the binding yarn texture portion, the binding yarn cutting portion, and the canvas body portion of the folded portion is 4 or 3
Since the weft density of the binding yarn cutting portion at the bending portion is the same as that of the canvas body portion, the canvas body of the single portion and the folding portion of the double portion are reduced. There is a single-folded portion with a constant width between them, and the bending stress at the boundary portion when traveling on the canvas is dispersed.

In a plain weave open mesh canvas with warp (1) and weft (2) both made of 0.8 mm polyester monofilament and with warp density and weft density of 13 threads / inch respectively, the weft thread is located 5 cm from the canvas terminal to the main body side. 5 pieces are removed to provide only the warp part, and the canvas end is bent to the main body side only in this warp part.
It is superposed on the main body to form a joining loop (3), and thereafter, the leading end weft (4) is formed without forming loops for every other warp yarn in the portion where only the joining loop should be originally formed. The binding thread (5) is formed by binding to the canvas body side up to the position (4), and the binding thread (5) is cut at almost the middle position of the folded portion (6) to remove the thread end side. Of the folded portion (6), the weft yarn in the portion where the binding yarn (5) has been removed is removed (7), and the binding yarn texture portion of the folded portion is the sewing thread (8) (8) and the binding yarn cutting portion is The canvas body and the bent portion are overlapped with each other by sewing with the binding thread (9) (9).

い。(Effects of the Invention) As described above, the joint portion of the dryer canvas according to the present invention is provided with a warp-only portion by removing the weft yarn at the bending position of the end portion of the canvas body. In the joint part of the dryer canvas where the folded part formed by folding the part back to the main body side is overlapped with the main body to form a joining loop, and the overlapped bent part is sewn onto the canvas main body. Every other warp in the portion where only the warp is to be formed is stitched to the canvas body side up to the position of the front weft without forming a loop, and a staple of the front weft is formed. The yarn end side of the warp to be formed is trimmed and removed at the same position between the yarn end of the warp forming the joining loop and the leading end weft in the bending portion, and is further folded. Since the weft yarns of the re-bending portion where the binding yarns have been cut and removed are removed, the leading end wefts on the main body side of the joint and on the loop roots on the folding side are every other warp. Since the wefts are bound and fastened by the binding thread, the two end wefts at the root of the loop do not come into close contact with each other, and thus the load on the sewing thread and the binding thread due to the traveling of the canvas is reduced. In addition, even in a canvas having a large warp diameter and a high density, it is easy to engage the loops when joining the joints, and side wear between the loops is unlikely to occur during traveling on the canvas. Moreover, since the number of warp yarns in the cross section gradually decreases at a constant rate from the bent portion of the joint to the canvas body, the bending stress at the boundary is dispersed, and the joint rolls on the canvas roll. Flexion fatigue when passing through etc. does not concentrate in one place.

Great effect can be obtained.
