本考案は、トレー上に敷設した吸水性積層シートに生鮮
な魚や肉等の被包装物から滲み出る液を吸収させるよう

生鮮な魚や肉を小売店等で販売するには、ストレッチ包
装と呼ばれている包装形態のものが一般に採用されてい
る。このストレッチ包装ではトレー上に置かれた被包装
物から血を含んだ水溶液（以下、ドリップ液という）が
滲み出て溜まり、トレー内を汚して非衛生的な印象を消
費者に与えると同時に、鮮度が低下するとか旨味が流出
し、商品価値が著しく損なわれることになる。 このような問題の解決策として、トレー上に吸水性積層
シートを敷設し、被包装物から滲み出たドリップ液を吸
水性積層シートに吸収させる方法が知られている。そし
て、この吸水性績層シートは、添付図面の第４図に示す
ように多数の切れ目（スリット）２を設けた不透明な合
成樹脂薄膜１を不織布３の片面上に接着剤層４を介して
積層接着した構造であって、ドリップ液は切れ目２を通
って不織布３に吸収され、この吸収されたドリップ液は
合成樹脂薄膜１によって外部から見えないように工夫さ
れている。なお、切れ目２は接着剤層４を貫通して設け

ある。この逆流現象を防止するには、不織布の肉厚を厚
くして吸水容量を増大すればよいが、これはコストアッ
プになるといった問題がある。 本考案はこのような問題を解決したものであって、その
目的は多数の通水部を設けた不透明な合成樹脂薄膜と吸
水性を有する繊維状シートとの間に空気層を形成し、繊
維状シートに吸収されたドリップ液が外力によって合成
樹脂薄膜上に逆流しないように改良した吸水性積層シー

透明な合成樹脂薄膜を点状に積層接着し、上記繊維状シ
ートと合成樹脂薄膜との間に空気層を設けてなる吸水性
積層シートを、トレー上に該吸水性積層シートの不透明
な合成樹脂薄膜が上側となるように敷設し、この吸水性
積層シートの上に魚や肉等の血を含んだ水溶液を含有す
る被包装物を収容し、これをフイルムでストレッチ包装

参照しながら説明する。 吸水性を有する繊維状シート１１はレーヨンの不織布や
紙等で形成されており、この繊維状シート１１上には多
数の通水部（図示の場合は小孔であるが、切れ目でもよ
い）１３が穿設されている不透明な合成樹脂薄膜１２が
粉末状の吸水性接着剤１４を介して点状に積層接着さ
れ、繊維状シート１１と合成樹脂薄膜１２との間に空気
層１５を設けて吸水性積層シートを形成する。そして、
この吸水性積層シートを不透明な合成樹脂薄膜１２が上
側となるようにトレー１６上に敷設し、その吸水性積層
シートの上に魚や肉等の血を含んだ水溶液を含有する被
包装物１７を収容し、これをフイルム１８でストレッチ
包装して本考案を実施する。 なお、繊維状シート１１としては、レーヨンの不織布を
用いた場合は秤量が60g/m2、厚みが約0.3mmであり、不
透明な合成樹脂薄膜１２としては、例えば厚みが50μで
あって、0.8mm径の小孔が1cm2当り６個の割合で設けら
れている低発泡の二軸延伸ポリプロピレンフイルムが用
いられる。 そして、合成樹脂薄膜１２は発泡させるか、或いはフイ
ルムにフィラーを充填させることにより不透明化され
る。また、粉末状の吸水性接着剤１４としては架橋ポリ
アクリル酸ソーダやポリビニルアルコール製等の吸水性
を有するもの、及びそれらとエチレン−酢酸ビニル共重
合体との混合物が用いられ、その粒径は0.1〜0.5mmであ

上に被包装物を収容してストレッチ包装体を構成したの
で、繊維状シートに吸収されたドリップ液の色は不透明
な合成樹脂薄膜によって外部から見えず、非衛生感を完
全に解消できると同時に、ドリップ液が被包装物に接触
する不具合を全面的に防止できる。また、空気層の存在
によって繊維状シートと吸水性接着剤に吸収されたドリ
ップ液が合成樹脂薄膜上に逆流する心配がなく、しか
も、粉末状の吸水性接着剤を用いているので、繊維状シ
ートに外力が作用した場合でも、一旦繊維状シートに吸
収されたドリップ液は粉末状の吸水性接着剤によって補
足されると共に、空気層に滞留し、その吸水性能をより
高めることが可能であって、ストレッチ包装体としては
