(Prior art and problems to be solved) Conventionally, a water absorbent sheet made of a synthetic resin sponge has been used in many fields including a sick sheet, a cosmetic product, a cleaning product or a hydroponic medium, but it has not been used yet. I haven't found anything that can meet that demand. For example, a water-absorbent sheet made of polyvinyl alcohol sponge is widely used as a cleaning sheet, but if the water content evaporates, it loses elasticity or flexibility and becomes hard, so it must always be used in a wet state. All of the water-absorbent sheets made of synthetic resin sponge imparting hydrophilicity have a small water absorption amount. For example, even in a relatively large water-absorbent sheet made of hydrophilic polyurethane sponge, the water absorption amount is about 0.2 g / dry cc. In addition to these, these water-absorbent sheets easily release water by simply shaking off the water-containing sheet several times as a draining operation, and their water retention capacity is extremely small, for example, even those with relatively water retention. The drainage test of the present invention (test method will be described later) is about 70
It only showed a% residual water content, and therefore its field of use was naturally limited due to these properties.

The present inventor has made various studies to improve the drawbacks of these conventional water absorbent sheets and to find a new water absorbent sheet having a large water absorption capacity and a large water retention ability. It was found that the obtained product has an extremely large amount of water absorption and water retention, and the present invention has been completed. An object of the present invention is to provide a novel water absorbent sheet having a large amount of water absorption and a high water retention. .

(Means for solving the problem) That is, the present invention has an apparent specific gravity of 0.08 to 0.3, a water absorption of about 0.5 to 2.50 g / dry cc, and a residual water content of 80% or more in a drainage test. A water-absorbent sheet made of a hydrophilic polyurethane sponge having a water absorption amount in the present invention means the weight of water absorbed after the sample sheet is immersed at room temperature for 10 minutes or more and the free water adhering to the surface is wiped off ( g / dry cc) divided by the volume of the sample sheet when dried, and the drainage test is a diameter of 25 cm and a depth of about 3 c
Approximately 70 cm with the above sample sheet put in a plastic colander of m
It is the measured value of the residual water after the operation is stopped 115 times and the operation is repeated 115 times. The relationship between the number of draining operations and the residual water content is shown in FIG. 2 in comparison with the commercially available water absorbing sheet and polyurethane sheet. Here, the residual water content is a value indicating the weight reduction rate corresponding to the number of drainages in%, with the total weight when absorbing water being 100. The hydrophilic polyurethane sponge constituting the water-absorbent sheet of the present invention is a reaction product composed of polyisosonate and polyol, to which a foaming agent is added to cause a foaming reaction.

Thus, the novel water-absorbent sheet having such characteristics of the present invention can be obtained, for example, by hydrophilic hydrophilic sponge alone or by heat-compressing the sponge to which a water-absorbing substance is added.

Example 1 An example of the production of the water absorbent sheet according to the present invention is shown. The polyol component has a molecular weight of about 5000 (f = 3), the ethylene oxide unit content is about 60%, and the molecular weight is 3500 (f = 3).
Ethylene oxide unit content of about 60% and those of about 50:50 were mixed respectively, and tolylene diisocyanate TDI-80 (2,4- / 2 , 6 isomer ratio 80/20) Add about 100 equivalents, mix and foam, width 1000-1100mm, height about 450-500mm
The foam extrusion is continuously performed in the cross-sectional shape of. The properties of the resulting hydrophilic polyurethane foam have an apparent density of 0.03 g / cc and elongation.
The hardness was 160%, the hardness was 9.5 ± 2 kg / 314 cm 2 , and the water absorption was 0.16 g / dry cc.

(Effect) As described above, the water-absorbent sheet according to the present invention has an apparent specific gravity of 0.08 to 0.3, a water absorption amount of about 0.5 to 2.50 g / cc, and a residual water content of 80% or more in the drainage test. Due to its characteristics, it has a larger apparent specific gravity than conventional sponge sheets and has a larger water absorption, so it is superior to conventional ones as a hydroponic medium, sick sheet or bath mat, and has a greater water retention capacity. Therefore, since it does not release water even by a simple impact, it is suitable as a water-absorbing mat or the like for a fish box and the like. In addition, the present invention has an effect that it can be used in new fields such as absorbing solutions of various salts and providing them for their respective uses.
