Conventional technology In automobiles, conductive harnesses for electrical components inside the door and electrical components inside the vehicle are installed at the corners between the floor panel and the sill inner of the side sill. Even if the vehicle is routed, the harness will be damaged if it is stepped on or off when getting on or off, so the harness is protected by being covered with a protector. FIGS. 3 and 4 show such a conventional harness protection structure, in which 1 is a floor panel, 2 is a side sill having a closed cross section composed of a sill inner 3 and a sill outer 4, and the sill inner 3 is located on the floor panel 1 side. It is joined to the edge. A harness 7 is arranged at a corner portion between the floor panel 1 and the sill inner 3, and a protector 8 is arranged so as to cover the harness 7. In this example, the protector 8 is formed in a substantially L-shaped cross section, and one end of the protector 8 is fastened and fixed to the sill inner 3. Protector 8
Is finally concealed and decorated by the floor carpet 9 laid on the floor panel 1. This floor carpet 9 is constructed by attaching a pile material 11 to a felt 10 which is a base cloth, and a side edge extension portion 11a of the pile material 11 is fixed by pressing a kicking plate 6 at a sill upper edge flange 5 portion. . Here, the protector 8 does not have a step with the felt 10 of the floor carpet 9,
The height of the felt 10 is set to be equal to the thickness of the felt 10 so that the pile material 11 is finished flush with the protector 8 from the felt 10. This similar structure is shown, for example, in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 61-203861.

Problem to be solved by the invention Even if the protector 8 is set to the same height as the thickness of the felt 10 of the floor carpet 9, as the floor carpet 9 is repeatedly stepped on, the felt 10 sinks and is shown in FIG. As described above, the floor carpet 9 is permanently bent, and a step δ is formed on the floor carpet 9 at the portion where the protector 8 is provided. As a result, not only the appearance is deteriorated, but also the step δ is hit by the foot to give a foreign body sensation, and the quality and reliability are impaired. Therefore,
The present invention provides a harness protection for a vehicle floor that can always maintain a flat feeling even if the base cloth of the floor carpet is permanently bent without causing a step in the floor carpet at the connecting portion between the base cloth and the protector. It provides the structure.

Means for Solving the Problems In a structure in which a harness arranged at a corner portion between a floor panel and a sill inner of a side sill is covered and a protector having a height corresponding to a base cloth thickness of a floor carpet is arranged, A camber is formed on the upper wall so as to incline toward the center of the vehicle compartment and the final amount of depression corresponds to about 1/4 of the unused thickness of the base cloth.

Action The floor carpet base fabric gradually bends as it is repeatedly stepped on, and the floor carpet sinks, but the final drop amount of the camber on the protector upper wall is about 1/4 of the unused thickness of the base fabric. Since this amount is approximately equal to the amount of permanent deflection of the base cloth, the pile fabric of the floor carpet is gently flat and continuous at the connecting portion between the protector and the base cloth. To avoid the occurrence of steps.

In FIGS. 1 and 2, a harness 7 is arranged in a corner portion between the floor panel 1 and the sill inner 3 of the side sill 2, and the harness 7 is covered in the corner portion, that is, the base cloth of the floor carpet 9, that is, The basic structure in which the protector 8 having a height corresponding to the thickness of the felt 10 is arranged is the same as the conventional one. In this embodiment, the receiving portion 1a of the harness 7 is recessed in the side edge portion of the floor panel 1 so that the harness 7 can be arranged in an orderly manner along the sill inner 3, while the protector 8 is attached to the sill inner 3. Bracket 8b receptacle
The bracket 8b is fixed to the receiving portion 3a with a screw 12 so that the bracket 8b does not project from the surface of the sill inner 3a. Here, on the upper wall 8a of the protector 8,
The camber is formed so as to be inclined toward the center of the passenger compartment and the final drop amount a corresponds to about 1/4 of the unused thickness of the felt 10.

According to the above-described structure of the embodiment, even if the felt 10 of the floor carpet 9 is initially at the same height as the protector 8, the felt 10 gradually bends and sinks by being repeatedly stepped on. However, as described above, since the camber that inclines toward the vehicle compartment center side is formed on the upper wall 8a of the protector 8,
Even if the felt 10 bends and sinks, the pile material 11 of the floor carpet 9 becomes familiar with the camber of the upper wall 8a at the connecting portion between the upper wall 8a and the felt 10, and the felt 10 moves from the upper wall 8a to the upper wall 8a.
A flat shape is maintained over the entire length. Even when the felt 10 is depressed until it reaches about 1/4 of the thickness when it is not used, the final depression amount a of the camber of the upper wall 8a is substantially equal to the permanent deflection amount b of the felt 10. The upper wall 8a
The edge and the edge of the felt 10 are flush with each other to maintain the flat state of the pile fabric 11, and it is possible to prevent a step from being formed in the pile fabric 11 at the connecting portion between the felt 10 and the protector 8.

As described above, according to the present invention, by forming the camber on the protector upper wall, it is possible to follow the sinking of the floor carpet base fabric and make the pile material of the floor carpet conform to the upper wall camber. In addition, unlike the case where the pile is simply formed by inclination, the pile fabric does not have a steep slope shape, and the flat shape can be maintained from the protector to the base cloth connecting portion. Above all, the camber on the upper wall has a final drop amount of about 1/100 of the unused thickness of the base cloth.
Since it is set to 4, and this amount is approximately the same as the amount of permanent deflection of the base cloth, even if it sinks until the base cloth reaches the amount of permanent deflection due to repeated stepping, a step is created in the connecting portion. Without being able to maintain the flat shape of the pile fabric without improving the appearance,
It is possible to further improve the sense of quality and reliability without the feeling of foreign matter being caught by the foot.
