Description of the Related Art Conventionally, as a saddle-riding type seat for a vehicle, a seat bottom plate on which a cushion material is arranged and which is covered with a skin is often used. In order to improve the sitting comfort in this seat, it is common to increase the cushion thickness as a whole to enhance the vibration absorption.

Therefore, as a method of improving the vibration absorbing property without making the cushion thickness too thick, it is conceivable to dispose a vibration absorbing member such as viscoelastic polyurethane between the seat bottom plate and the cushion material. However, if this type of vibration absorbing member is used for a saddle type seat, there is a concern that the seated person is likely to move laterally and the seating posture becomes unstable.

By arranging the vibration absorbing member only in a portion having a high distribution, it has been thought that the above-mentioned conventional problems can be solved and the problem of lateral shake can be avoided.

Note that, in FIG. 16, the lower part of the drawing is the front of the vehicle. As is clear from the figure, when seated on the seat, it is understood that the pressure distribution is highest near the driver's ischial tuberosity (A, A). In addition, it was also found that the distance between the left and right ischial tuberosity portions was almost constant regardless of the physique of the driver. Therefore, it can be understood that the vibration absorbing member may be arranged at the ischial tuberosity portion of a driver having an average build.

Therefore, it is possible to suppress transmission of vehicle body vibration to the seated person without increasing the thickness of the entire seat. And in the present invention, since the vibration absorbing member is arranged only in the portion where the seat pressure is high, there is no lateral shaking of the seated person as in the case where the vibration absorbing member is arranged in the entire seat,
It is also advantageous in terms of cost.

The seat 1 has a cushion material 4 provided on an upper surface of a seat bottom plate 3, and a surface of the cushion material 4 is covered with a skin 5. It has a covered structure. The front half of the seat 1 is formed in a stepped shape lower than the rear half, and the front half is for a driver and the rear half is for a tandem passenger. A mounting recess 3a is formed in the front half of the bottom plate 3 below the vehicle. The mounting recess 3a has a symmetrical shape with respect to the seat center line, and has a size that covers the circumference of the seat pressure distribution chart (FIG. 16) with the highest pressure distribution as the center. It is shaped like the shape of the isobar. The length of the vehicle in the front-rear direction is set to about 1/2 of the length of the seat 1. A core plate 6 made of viscoelastic polyurethane is adhesively fixed to the mounting recess 3a. The surface of the core plate 6 is formed in a wave shape having a pitch p and a height t, and has a shape matching the shape of the mounting recess 3a. In addition,
Reference numeral 7 is a hooking piece for locking the seat 1 to the vehicle body frame, and 2 is an air vent hole for discharging the air in the seat.

In the saddle riding type seat 1 according to the present embodiment, the vehicle body vibration is transmitted to the driver from a portion having a high seat pressure acting on the seat 1, particularly the above-mentioned ischial tuberosity portions A and A. Since the core plate 6 having a high vibration absorbing property is arranged in the portion where the vibration is easily transmitted, the vibration is absorbed by the core plate 6 and the sitting comfort is improved.

In the figure, the solid line shows the vibration absorption characteristics of the above-mentioned conventional example, and the broken line shows the vibration absorption characteristics of this embodiment. As is clear from the figure, it can be seen that there is a vibration reduction effect particularly in the vibration frequency region (a) that affects the seating comfort of the seat.

The vibration can be efficiently absorbed, and the increase in weight and cost can be suppressed. Further, since the core plate 6 is provided only in the portion where the seat pressure is high, there is no lateral wobbling as in the case where the core plate 6 is provided in the entire seat. Furthermore, as described above, since the mounting recess 3a has a recessed structure on the lower side of the vehicle, it is possible to prevent the core plate 6 itself from being displaced, and from this point also, it is possible to prevent lateral shake.
