埃等に接触することにより、この塵埃等を容易に剥離

ブ10を利用して水を有孔パイプ5内に逆流させて補給
し、塵埃等を洗浄水8に混入せしめて排水性舗装混合物

機能を回復せしめて有効に維持することができるのであ

埃等を確実的に除去して当該排水性舗装の機能の回復、
維持に寄与する。このことは、急激な降雨があった場合
でも、舗装体内の排水がスムーズに行われ舗装体内が飽
和状態になりにくいので、道路上に雨水をあふれさせる
ことがなく、路面の滑り抵抗値の低下が抑制され、交通
安全性の向上に貢献する。その上、舗装体内に水を流入
させることができる効用として、寒冷地において舗装表
面に降り積もった雪が、この舗装体内の水に接すること
で解け易い状態になり、舗装表面は氷結しにくくなるな
どの凍結防止にも役立つのである。
