見るとかなり高くなるため、上述の作業を行なう場合は
踏み台等が必要になりこの作業がしずらかった。

脂製のカバーで、主カバー22と補助カバー23とから
構成されている(第1図参照)。そして主カバー22で
固定具20の開口部15の下方を塞いだ後、残りの開口
部の長さ寸法に応じて補助カバー23を切断してこの切
断いた補助カバー23で残りの開口を塞ぐ。このように
主カバー22の長さ寸法aと補助カバー23の長さ寸法
bとの和を窓枠4の高さ寸法と略一致させている。この
ようにして窓枠4の高さ寸法に応じてカバー21の長さ
寸法が変えられる。このカバー21の両端には夫々の固
定部材13,14同志の端板のリブ24,25に係止す
る係合爪26が形成されている。27は第1の固定部材
13の正面28の下部に設けた配管取り出し用の切り欠
きで、第1の固定部材13から室外へ延びる冷媒管12
が配置される。29は第1の固定部材13の側板30の
下部並びに第2の固定部材14の側板31の上部に設け
た位置決め用の切り欠きで、窓枠4の下面のレール32
並びに上面のレール33がこの切り欠きに嵌まり込ん
で、この装置の前後方向の動きを規制している。34は
第1の固定部材の位置決め具で略L字状に形成されてお
り、垂直片35は第1の固定部材13の左側面に当てら
れ、水平片36は窓枠4の下面37でネジ38によって
固定されている。このようにして、窓枠4の右側面に当
てられた第1の固定部材13が左方向へ動くのをこの位
置決め具34で規制している。39は第1の固定部材1
3の側板30に取り付けられる固定ネジで、このネジの
ネジ部40は第1の固定部材13の側板30を貫通して

側へ向く開口を設けたことにより、配管作業の大半を室
内で行なうことができこの作業性を良くすることができ
る。又、この開口をカバーでおおうことによりこの配管
が室内もしくは室外からほとんど見えないので家屋の美
観をそこなうおそれを少なくすることができる。
