(Prior Art) In recent automobiles, depending on the type of vehicle used, box-shaped ones have been increasing for the purpose of increasing the space inside the vehicle. In this type of automobile, the curvature of the rear corners, which are the boundaries between the upper and side surfaces of the vehicle body and the rear surface, tends to be small. This decrease in curvature accelerates the separation of the airflow flowing along the surface of the vehicle body, expands the turbulence, and impairs fuel economy and steering stability.

In order to solve this problem, some conventional automobiles have a rear deflector 2 attached to the rear corner portion 6 of the vehicle body 1 for the purpose of rectifying the flow of air, as shown in FIG. The rear deflector 2 is attached by forming an air passage 5 in an upper rear corner portion 6 which is a boundary between the upper surface 3 and the rear surface 4 of the vehicle body 1. The outer surface of the rear deflector 2 has a shape along the upper rear corner portion 6 of the vehicle body 1 as a whole. Then, the air flowing along the upper surface of the vehicle body 1 when the vehicle is traveling is passed through the rear deflector 2

(Problems to be solved by the invention) However, since the above-described conventional rear deflector 2 has a shape along the upper rear corner portion 6 of the vehicle body 1, sufficient air rectification is not performed, and the symbol C in FIG. As shown by, there is a problem that turbulent flow is generated in the vicinity of the rear surface 4 and becomes resistance during traveling. Further, as indicated by a symbol D in FIG. 4, this turbulent flow has a problem that dust and muddy water that are rolled up from the lower side during traveling are entrained and adhered to the rear window glass 7, which hinders rearward visibility.
