Claims (6)

【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 【請求項1】 加熱体と加圧ローラとの間に未定着トナ
ー像が保持された転写紙を通過させることにより、上記
転写紙上の未定着トナー像を定着させるようにした画像
定着装置において、加圧ローラの外周面に軸方向に沿っ
て平行配置された加熱体を形成するヒートパイプと、上
記ヒートパイプの放熱部と圧接する上記加圧ローラとの
間に形成されるニップ部と、上記ニップ部で圧接されて
上記転写紙の搬送速度と同一速度で離型処理を施した耐
熱性フィルムを搬送する搬送手段と、上記ヒートパイプ
と別軸で別体的に固定配置されて上記ヒートパイプを加
熱する加熱手段とを有し、上記転写紙上の未定着トナー
面を上記耐熱性フィルムを介して上記ニップ部で加熱し
つつ通過させることによって未定着トナーを転写紙上に
定着させるようにしたことを特徴とする画像定着装置。
