The hinge portion is bent so that the pressure receiving plate and the pressing plate face each other. The print substrate is placed on the placement surface of the pad. The printing original plate is attached to the pressing plate. The pressing plate is pressed against the pressure receiving plate by, for example, placing both hands on the surface of the pressing plate opposite to the surface facing the pad. The ink in the printing original plate migrates to the surface of the printing material and printing is performed on the printing material.

At this time, the pad is formed of an elastic body having a non-linear displacement amount within a pressing force range required for press printing, and the pressing body is linearly displaced within a pressing force range required for press printing. Since it is formed of an elastic body having, for example, the pressing force by the hand is evenly distributed on the pressing plate and the pressing plate, and the pressing force applied to the pad is also uniformly distributed. As a result, there is no dark and thin printing unevenness on the printing material, and the ink is smoothly transferred from the printing original plate to the printing material to form a clear image on the printing material.

When the pressurizing body and the pad are made of an elastic body having the above-mentioned characteristics, the pressing force is evenly distributed, and as a result, clear printing that is neither too dark nor too thin is possible. Although not clear yet, the present inventors consider as follows.

In a conventional press type printing apparatus having a mounting table on which a material to be printed is mounted and a pressing member which applies a pressing force to the material to be printed on the mounting table via the printing original plate, the hardness of the mounting table is Since the pressing member is made of a material having much higher hardness, for example, hard plastic or metal, the pressing force by the hands when pressing the pressing member with both hands is directly transmitted to the mounting table. The hand pressing force applied to the surface of the pressing member opposite to the surface facing the mounting table is a local pressure. Therefore, even if the mounting table is formed of a flexible member, it is presumed that local pressure is applied to the printing original plate through the pressing member, resulting in uneven printing on the printing material.

However, in the simple pressing type printing apparatus of the present invention, when the pressing force applied to the pressing main body with, for example, both hands is increased, neither the pressing main body nor the pad is largely deformed at the initial stage of applying the pressing force. It is presumed that this is because the pressing force applied is dispersed in the pressurizing body, and the dispersed pressing force is applied to the pad. When the pressing force applied to the pressurizing body by, for example, both hands exceeds a certain value, the pad undergoes a non-linear displacement and is rapidly deformed. At this time, the pressurizing body is slightly deformed due to the pressing force, but is not causing a rapid nonlinear displacement. Therefore, the pressing force dispersed by the pressurizing body is applied uniformly and largely to the mounting surface of the pad. It is estimated that this will be done.

When the pressing plate 4 is pressed with a hand, a pressing force is applied to the surface of the pressing plate 4 with which the palm comes into contact, but when a certain pressing force is reached, the elastic pad 7 exhibits a non-linear displacement. That is, the printing apparatus main body 2 is not largely compressed, but the elastic pad 7 is compressed. At this time, since the foam forming the printing apparatus main body 2 does not exhibit non-linear displacement, the surface of the pressure receiving plate 3 facing the pressing plate 4 is not yet deformed, and the elastic pad is the flat surface of the pressure receiving plate 3 which is not deformed. Since 7 is compressed, the detailed mechanism for transmitting the pressing force is not clear, but the stencil printing plate 8 and the postcard 1
1 is sandwiched between the pressing plate 4 and the elastic pad 7 with a uniform force and is pressed. As a result, high quality stencil printing without printing unevenness can be provided on the surface of the postcard 11.

The positioning member 13 has a height higher than the mounting surface of the elastic pad because it is necessary to position the object to be printed on the elastic pad. Therefore, when the pressure receiving plate presses the elastic pad, the pressure receiving plate comes into contact with the positioning member before the pressure receiving plate comes into contact with the elastic pad. Therefore, it is desirable that the material of the positioning member 13 has the same hardness as the elastic pad, or has a smaller hardness than the elastic pad.
