Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the falling of a condensed liquid of a molten resin to an air blowoff port by allowing the molten resin to flow toward the rear edge of an upper plate member without accumulating the same on the upper plate member by forming the upper plate member of an air chamber so as to downwardly incline the same from the front edge to the rear edge thereof. CONSTITUTION:A resin to be extruded is emitted in a film form from a T-die 1 to be wound around a rotary cooling roll 3 to be cooled and solidified and the formed film is successively taken up by a takingup device while both ends thereof are trimmed. An air chamber 8 sprays air on the surface of the film 2 in the vicinity of the area where the film 2 comes into contact with the cooling roll 3 not only to bring the film 2 into close contact with the cooling roll 3 but also to cool the same. Since an upper plate member 11a is inclined from the front edge 15 to the rear edge 16 thereof, a condensed liquid is not accumulated on the upper plate member 11a and flows toward the rear edge 16 and does not fall to the air blowoff port 9 of the air chamber 8.

よう、端部に向かって先細に形成されている。尚、反対
側の下板体17は従来と同じように形成してある。9は
エアチャンバ8の空気を吹出しの口部であり、10は主

10に供給されるが、エアチャンバ8からは整流されて
静圧状態にしてフィルム2等に吹き付けてフィルム2等
を冷却ロール3へ押し付ける。その際、高温のTダイ1
から排出された直後の溶融樹脂の含有物は蒸発し、外気
温で冷却凝縮され、上板体11a上に凝縮液となって降
下するが、上板体11aは前縁15から後縁16にかけ
て傾斜している為、上板体11aに凝縮液は溜まること
ができず、後縁16方向に流れので、エアチャンバ8の
空気吹出し用の口部9への落下を生じない。その為、フ
ィルム2等に凝縮液が吹き付けられることがないため、
フィルム2等の品質の低下を生じない。
