Therefore, as a result of various studies on the effective use of the attic space in such a case, the present inventor has focused on the dorma that has been conventionally used for the attic ventilation, the lighting of the living room below, and the like. Notice that it can be used as a living room by forming a relatively large space under the sloping roof by using a steel frame instead of the wooden frame used in front of the conventional dormer. By doing so, we have completed a dome that has excellent strength and can be made larger.

However, in the dormer used in this way, its width changes depending on the arrangement of beam members and the like in the roof assembly. Therefore, when forming the front surface of the dorma using only the steel frame body, it is necessary to prepare a frame body for each varying width, increasing the types of the frame body, and reducing the labor for production, inventory, etc. It will be necessary.

The present invention is a dormer that is arranged on a sloping roof with the front surface facing downward of the flow of the sloping roof, and is a pair of steel strut members and a steel slant member that extends obliquely upward from the upper ends of each strut member. And the upper end of the diagonal member is joined to form a chevron, and the lower end of the support member is horizontal and is lined up on both sides of the frame member fixed to the steel purlin. The dormer is characterized in that a wooden side frame body having a diagonal member arranged and continuous with the diagonal member of the frame body is provided on the front surface.

The dormer includes a steel frame body composed of a pair of support members and a diagonal member arranged diagonally and in a mountain shape at the upper ends of the support members, and wooden side frame members on both sides thereof. As a result, the rigidity and strength of the dome skeleton is increased as compared with a domema using a conventional wooden frame, and the frame fixes the lower end of the strut member to the steel purlin. The strength and rigidity can be increased, and the size can be increased to the extent that a living room or the like can be formed in the attic.

The side frames on both sides of the frame are made of wood and can be easily manufactured to any desired size. Also, since the diagonal members are in line with the diagonal members of the frame, they can be placed on both sides of the frame to reduce the width. It is possible to form a dorma of any size. Therefore, the types of frame bodies are reduced and the productivity is increased.

In the diagonal member 6, the side frame 7 has the lower plate 14 attached to the lower base 29.
When fixed and attached to the diagonal member 3, the upper surface thereof is located in a plane including the upper surface of the diagonal member 3 of the frame body 4 and is continuous with the diagonal member 3 in a substantially straight line. The lower plate 14, the vertical members 15 and 16, the diagonal members 17, and the crosspieces of the side frame member 7 are made of wood. Therefore, by freely selecting the width dimension of the side frame member 7,
The length of the front face F of the dormer 1 can be freely determined, and in this example, the length between the supporting members 2 and 2 of the frame body 4 is twice the reference module M (2M), and each side frame. Vertical member 1 of body 7
By setting the length between 5 and 16 as the reference module M, the dormer 1 having a quadruple width of 4M is formed.

When the domer width is 3 times as long as the reference module M, the side frame 7 is 0.5 times as wide as the reference module (0.5M), and when the domer width is 5 times as long (5M), it is 1.5 times as long. By adjusting the width of the side frame body 7 such as using the side frame body 7 with a width (1.5M), 1
It is possible to form the domers 1 of various widths by using one or a few types of frame bodies 4.
