む状態が親ダクト基部から子ダクトの先端に向けて移動
していき、この際、“バリ・バリ”という高周波成分の
多い、耳障りな音が発生し、この音は、温風暖房機が起
動する度に発生するため運転−停止制御が頻繁な場合な
どは、地域住民に与える騒音公害は重大な問題になって
いる。上記騒音はダクトが急激に膨らむことにより発生
するものであるが、ダクトの長さは数十メートルから場
合によっては百メートル近くにも及んでおり、温風暖房
機の送風ファンが起動し送風が始まると、上記のように
急激に膨らむ部分が親ダクト基部から子ダクト先端に向
かって順次移動するため、急激に膨らむダクト各部にお
いて騒音が発生し、ダクト全体が膨らむまでに要する数
分の間“バリ・バリ”という騒音が連続することにな
る。
