Received by 17-2. Since both of the receivers 17-1 and 17-2 are separated by a predetermined distance, unless the spotlight main body 13 is correctly oriented to the moving object 11, the first receiver 17-1 is provided. The phase difference detection circuit 19-1 detects the phase difference between both radio waves received by the second receiver 17-2 and the second receiver 17-2.

And the spotlight body 13 and the first receiver 17-1 which is fixed at a position apart from the spotlight body 13 respectively.
And a second receiver 17-2, a phase difference detection circuit 19-1 for detecting the phase difference between the reception signals received by both receivers, and an output from the phase difference detection circuit 19-1. Since the spotlight irradiation direction control device has the spotlight main body drive means 15 for directing the spotlight irradiation optical axis to the moving object 11 so that the phase difference becomes zero, according to this. The irradiation optical axis of the spotlight main body is controlled by the radio wave transmitter carried by the moving object and the first receiver 17-1 and the second receiver 17-2 mounted on the spotlight main body 13 and the fixed wall surface 18, respectively. However, since the spotlight body can be automatically tracked so as to point to the center of the moving object, a worker (operator) for adjusting the spotlight position unlike the conventional case is not required, which saves the work. Help of. Further, since the light emitting element is carried by the moving object, it is possible to obtain an effect that fine control can be performed so that the center (optical axis) of the spotlight is directed to the central portion of the moving object.
