2. Description of the Related Art Generally, when connecting a plurality of electric wires, each end of the electric wire is cut off to connect the conductors to each other with a conductive material such as solder, and the periphery of the connection is covered with an insulating material. ing. In this case, it is necessary for the electric wire connecting portion to have an insulating property and have a waterproof structure that prevents water and the like from entering. Therefore, a method of molding the periphery of the connecting portion with a resin material or the like, or a method of using a connector having a waterproof structure is adopted. First, as a conventional example of molding with a resin material,
For example, there is one as shown in FIGS. In FIG. 5, the electric wire 4 and the electric wire 5 are electrically connected using the connecting conductor 6, and the connection portion is molded with resin 7 and waterproofed. In this molding method, the electric wire connection portion is placed in a predetermined mold, and molten resin is poured into the predetermined portion to cure the electric wire connection portion.

However, the conventional waterproof structure as described above has the following problems. First, in the case of the one shown in FIG. 5, water may infiltrate from the boundary portion A between the electric wire and the resin, which may cause rust at the electric wire connecting portion to cause conduction failure, leak current, etc. You can work only where there is equipment. Further, in the case shown in FIG. 6, when the number of branched poles is increased, sufficient waterproofness cannot be secured only by the process of winding the insulating material around the insulating sheet. Further, depending on the operator, the work of crimping the connecting conductor requires difficulty, which causes variations in the manufacturing process.

As shown in FIG. 1, the electric wire connecting portion according to the present invention mainly comprises a housing case 17 and a rubber plug 13. The housing case 17 is a cylindrical case having an opening at the top, and a pair of opposed lock receiving portions 18 is provided on the upper part of the peripheral wall. A conductive filler 19 is filled in the case in a required amount. There is. On the other hand, at the lower end portion on the outer peripheral wall of the cylindrical rubber plug 13, an outer wall seal portion 16 forming an annular rib that comes into pressure contact with the inner wall 17a of the housing case 17 is provided, and on the outer peripheral wall above the seal portion 16. A pair of opposed locking projections 15 that engage with a locking receiving portion 18 provided on the housing case 17 are formed. Further, the rubber plug 13 has a through hole 1 for inserting the connection terminal 12 crimped to the tip conductor portion of the lead wire 11.
4 are provided according to the number of lead wires 11. An inner wall seal portion 14a forming an annular rib is formed on the inner peripheral wall of the through hole 14 so as to make pressure contact when the connection terminal 12 is inserted. Next, the assembly by the above-mentioned components will be described. As shown in FIG. 2, first, a required amount of filler 19 is put in the housing case 17. In this embodiment, the filler 19 is a conductive material having a specific resistance of about 10 −5 cm · Ω, and is a thermosetting material that is well compatible with vinyl chloride, PBT (polybutylene terephthalate), PP (polypropylene), nylon and the like. Epoxy resin. The required amount of the filler 19 is the amount of the filler 1 when the rubber stopper 13 is fitted into the housing case 17 to engage the locking projection 15 and the locking receiving portion 18.
9 contacts the lower surface 13a of the rubber plug 13 and slightly penetrates the lower edge of the through hole 14, that is, the height h 2 from the surface of the resin filled in the housing case 17 to the lower edge of the lock receiving portion 18. Further, the height h 1 from the lower edge of the locking projection 15 of the rubber plug 13 to the rubber plug lower surface 13a is slightly increased. Then, as shown in FIG. 3, the rubber plug 13 is fitted into the housing case 17 from the open upper portion thereof, and further pushed downward while the outer wall seal portion 16 is in contact with the inner wall 17a of the housing case 17. The stopper projection 15 engages with the lock receiving portion 18 on the housing case 17 side, and the rubber plug 13 is fixed to the housing case 17.

Next, as shown in FIG. 4, the connection terminal 12 fixed to the tip conductor portion of the lead wire 11 is inserted into the through hole 14, and the connection terminal 12 is dipped in the filler 19 and accommodated therein. It is further pushed toward the bottom surface of the case 17. In this state, the lead wire 11 is connected to the inner wall seal portion 14a of the through hole 14.
And is pressed in a watertight state. Then, the filler 19 which is a thermosetting epoxy resin is allowed to stand at room temperature or high temperature (heating) and cured. As a result, the lead wire 11 is fixed in a watertight state in the housing case 17, and the lead wire 11 is electrically connected by the conductive filler 19 so that the lead wire can be branched. Further, since the filler 19 is completely sealed by the outer wall seal portion 16 and the inner wall seal portion 14a, the lead wire 11 can be installed even if the filler 19 is not completely cured. It is possible to improve efficiency.

Further, when a tensile force in the P direction acts on the lead wire 11, the disc portion 12a of the connection terminal 12 prevents the connection terminal 12 from coming off. Even if the connecting terminal 12 is not fixed to the end of the lead wire 11 and is inserted into the through hole 14 as it is, a sufficient holding force can be obtained by the pressure contact force of the inner wall seal portion 14a and the hardening of the filler 19. .

The present invention is not limited to the above embodiment, but as an application example, if the ground terminal 20 is press-fitted from the bottom surface of the housing case 17 in advance, a vehicle body grounding specification is also possible. Further, it is desirable that the required amount of the filler 19 is minimized in consideration of the shape of the housing case and the rubber plug, and the cylindrical structure is used in this embodiment, but the present invention is not limited to the cylindrical shape. Of course.
