In the above-mentioned device according to Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 61-16233, since the slide core 23 does not operate up to the back surface of the base material 27, the edge portion 26 of the skin 25 cannot be folded back, so that the back surface of the base material 27 is not covered. The edge portion 26 cannot be adhered. Therefore, an unbonded portion remains on the edge portion 26 of the outer skin 25, and the unbonded region of the edge portion 26 must be manually performed after all.

In the device of the above-mentioned Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 56-84959,
As shown in FIGS. 10 and 11, the edge 3 of the epidermis
The elastic film 33 and the vacuum suction device 38 are used to bond 7 to the back surface of the base material by a vacuum action. However, since this apparatus requires the vacuum suction device 38, the equipment tends to be complicated and the equipment cost tends to be high. Further, the casing 31 needs a sealing mechanism for enhancing the airtightness, which also tends to increase the equipment cost. Further, in this device, in the case of an article having a complicated shape, the elastic film may be difficult to follow the article shape even by vacuum.

The elastically deformable portion is made of an elastic material, has a function of being bent with respect to the concave holding surface and returning to a substantially original state when released from the pressing portion. As the elastic material, foamed resin, foamed rubber, and natural rubber are preferable, and among them, natural rubber is more preferable because of its restoring property. Further, the elastically deforming portion may be any as long as it has an elastic action,
It may have a sheet shape or a plate shape.

First, a predetermined sheet-shaped article 5 is placed on the concave holding surface 2 of the base 1. In this case, as shown in FIG. 2, in the sheet-like article 5, the edge portion 53 of the skin 51 is projected. Then, as shown in FIG. 3, this protruding edge portion 53
The elastically deforming portion 3 is slid laterally toward the central portion of the concave holding surface 2, and the edge portion 53 is bent inward. After that, as shown in FIG. 4, the elastic pressing portion 4 is lowered, and the elastic deforming portion 3 and the bent edge portion 53 are pressed against the concave holding surface 2 using the elastic pressing portion 4. And pinch. The adhesive is applied to the inner surface of the edge portion 53 or the upper and inner surfaces of the base material 52 in advance.

Therefore, by using this device, since it has the above-mentioned action, the edge portion of the sheet-like article can be mechanically folded and bonded without manual labor, and therefore the number of steps can be reduced. Further, when mechanically folding and adhering, the concave holding surface of the base and the elastic pressing portion gently press the base material, the edge portion of the skin, and the elastically deforming portion without giving an impact to the holding. Therefore, the base material, the edge portion of the skin, and the elastically deformed portion are not damaged. Further, by using this device, the edge portion can be folded not only to the end surface of the epidermis but also to the back surface thereof, so that it can be automated even for a large adhesive area. Further, in this device, since it is not necessary to use a vacuum device and a casing, the equipment is simple and the equipment cost is low.

Next, as shown in FIG. 3, the two elastically deformable portions 3 are slid inward by the air cylinders for elastically deformable portions (7 in FIG. 1) so that the end edges 53 are formed on the upper end surface of the base material 51. Defeat it. In this case, the adhesive is previously applied to the inside of the edge portion 53. An adhesive may be applied to the upper end surface and the inner side surface of the base material 51. As the elastically deformable portion 3 slides inward on the left and right sides, the end edge portion 53 is bent inward.

Next, as shown in FIG. 4, the elastic pressurizing portion 4 is lowered by using the pressurizing portion cylinder (9 in FIG. 1) to clamp the elastically deforming portion 3 and the end edge portion 53 in the concave shape. It was pressed against the surface 2 and clamped. In this case, the elastically deformable portion 3 and the end edge portion 5
3 is in a state of being folded inward. At this time, since the adhesive is applied to the predetermined position, the base material 52 and the skin 51 are adhered.

According to the above method using the apparatus of the present embodiment, the edge portion 53 of the skin 51 of the sheet-like article 5 can be mechanically folded and adhered, so that the number of steps can be reduced. Further, when mechanically folding and adhering, the base 52 is pressed by the concave holding surface 2 of the base 1 and the elastic pressing portion 4.
Since the edge portion 53 of the outer skin 51 and the elastically deformable portion 3 can be gently pressed and clamped without giving an impact, the base material 52
The edge portion 53 of the outer skin 51 and the elastic deformation portion 3 are not damaged. Further, the elastically deformable portion 3 that is repeatedly used can increase its bending durability. With this device,
Since the end edge portion 53 can be folded and adhered not only to the upper end surface of the base material 52 but also to the inner side surface, the adhering area can be widened. In addition, this apparatus does not require a vacuum suction device, and the air cylinder 7 and the air cylinder 9
By having the elastically deformable portion 3, the end edge portion 5 is provided.
Since 3 can be bonded even to the inner surface of the base material, the equipment is simpler and less expensive than the conventional equipment.

That is, the elastic portion may be fixed by using the base portion as a movable type. The planar shape of the elastically deformable portion is not limited to the flat plate shape as described above, and can be various shapes, and the number thereof may be one or three or more, which are the edges of the sheet-like article. Various selections are made according to the shape of the part. For example, if the edge portion has a donut shape, a plurality of elastically deformable portions may be arranged in the circumferential direction so that the edge portion can be folded in the centripetal direction. In this case, it is preferable that the end edge portion is provided with a plurality of slits in the centripetal direction or has a pleated shape so as not to overlap each other when folded.
