Abstract

PURPOSE:To allow the using of the inside of the room wider by a method wherein an air path is formed to circulate air between a metal foam body making up an internal wall surface side and a heat insulating material compos ing an external wall surface side and a means for making water permeate into the metal foam body is provided to cool an internal wall surface portion of an external wall as a surface. CONSTITUTION:Water flows downward into a pipe 10 from above and is made to permeate into a metal foam body 1 from the surrounding wall thereof while a fan 9 is actuated to circulate an outside air through an air path 3. As a result, the water permeated into the metal foam body 1 contacts the outside air infiltrated into the air path 3 and the water permeated into the metal foam body 1 evaporates. Hence, heat of evaporation is deprived of to cool the metal foam body 1 so that the metal foam body 1 making up an internal wall 7 of an external wall 5 acts as surface cooler to cool the inside a room. In this case, the outside air passing through the air path 3 is also cooled and a part thereof passes through the metal foam body 1 to cool the inside of the room. This allows the use of the inside of the room wider as compared with the type equipped with a cooling apparatus in the room as in the past.

In the above-mentioned conventional example, since the cooling device is installed in the room, the indoor space becomes small, and the cooling device installed in the room is not the surface cooling but the partial cooling. Therefore, the cooling effect was poor. Therefore, it has been considered to cool the panel forming the inner wall surface by cooling air or cold water to the back surface on the inner wall surface side for cooling, but there is a problem that the cooling load is large and the structure is complicated.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS The present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the embodiments shown in the accompanying drawings. As shown in FIG. 1, the outer wall 5 of the present invention includes an outer wall member 6 forming the outer wall surface side and an inner wall member 7 forming the inner wall surface side.
And a space serving as the air passage 3 are formed between the two. The outside air is circulated in the air passage 3, and the fan 9 is used to circulate the outside air. In FIG. 1, reference numeral 11 is an air intake port, and 12 is an air exhaust port. In the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, the air is passed through the air passage 3 from bottom to top, but it may be flowed from top to bottom. The outer wall material 6 is composed of an exterior material 8 and a heat insulating material 2 provided on the back surface of the exterior material 8. The inner wall material 7 is formed of the metal foam 1. The metal foam 1 is formed by sintering aluminum powder, and for example, the product name “Calm” manufactured by NDC Co., Ltd. can be used. The metal foam 1 has a panel shape, and a plurality of pipes 10 are vertically inserted in the metal foam 1 as shown in FIG. The tube 10 is made of a material that allows water to seep out in the metal foam body 1 (for example, the tube 10 has many fine small holes formed on its wall surface).
By letting water flow through the pipe 10 as indicated by the arrow, the water gradually exudes from the pipe 10 into the metal foam 1.
Therefore, in this embodiment, the tube 10 having a structure in which water seeps out constitutes the means 4 for allowing water to soak into the metal foam 1. Further, as another example, by opening holes in the metal foam body 1 in the upper and lower directions, when water is allowed to flow through the holes, the water flows from the fine gaps of the metal foam body 1 forming the inner wall surface of the holes. The metal foam 1 may be soaked into the inside of the metal foam body 1, and the structure 4 may be configured to allow water to soak into the metal foam body 1.

Then, water is flowed through the pipe 10 from top to bottom,
When water was soaked into the metal foam body 1 from the peripheral wall of the tube 10 and the fan 9 was operated to circulate the outside air in the air passage 3, the water soaked in the metal foam body 1 entered the metal foam body 1. The metal foam 1 constituting the inner wall material 7 of the outer wall 5 is the surface cooling device, because the heat of evaporation is removed by the evaporation of the water that has come into contact with the outside air and soaks into the metal foam 1, and the metal foam 1 is cooled. And the room will be cooled. In this case, the outside air passing through the air passage 3 is also cooled, and a part of the cooled outside air also flows through the metal foam 1 to the inside of the room to cool the inside of the room. Further, the other part of the cooled outside air flowing through the air passage 3 is discharged to the outside as it is, but it can be further used for indoor cooling.

Here, the supply amount of water is controlled so that the water soaked in the metal foam 1 does not spill outside the metal foam 1. In addition, a breathable waterproof sheet that allows air to pass therethrough but does not allow water to pass therethrough may be laminated on both side surfaces of the metal foam body 1 for waterproofing.

According to the present invention, as described above, the air passage for circulating the outside air is formed between the metal foam forming the inner wall surface side and the heat insulating material forming the outer wall surface side, and Since there is a means to allow water to soak into the foam body, the water that has soaked into the metal foam body evaporates by allowing water to soak into the metal foam body by letting air pass through the air passage and soaking the water. The heat is taken away, the metal foam is cooled, and the interior surface of the outer wall is cooled by the part constituting the inner wall surface side. Further, the outer wall surface side serves as a heat insulating material. The surface cooling can be performed more effectively. Since the surface cooling can be performed by using the wall surface, the indoor can be widely used as compared with the conventional one in which the cooling device is installed in the room.
