Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the safety by connecting end members with a connecting member on which an elastic member is fixed, providing a fixed hook member engaging to one side end in the longitudinal direction of a crawler plate, while a hook member allowable to mount and demount to the other end, and furthermore, providing a spike to one side end member, in a pad for crawler vehicle. CONSTITUTION:Crawler plates 1 are combined in the endless form by track links 2 so as to compose a crawler. A pad P installed to the tread side of the crawler plate 1 is composed of both end members 3 and 4, and a connecting member 5 to connect the both end members. On the upper surface of the connecting member 5, an elastic member 6 with the hardness 65 to 95 deg. is baked and fixed. A fixed hook member 7 to engage to the end of the crawler plate 1 is provided to one side end member 3, while a demountable hook member 8 is provided to the other side end member 4 with a bolt 9 allowable to mount and demount, and the end members are connected and disconnected together with the connecting member 5 with both hook members 7 and 8. And at least on one side end member 3 or 4, a spike 11 is provided. A slipping of the vehicle on a frozen road surface can be prevented in such a way.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, in order to protect a traveling road surface from a crawler belt, a pad is attached to a tread side of each crawler plate constituting the crawler belt. As a conventional crawler belt pad of this type, for example, one that is detachably fixed to each crawler plate as shown in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 62-32138, or an actual Kaihei 4-
As disclosed in Japanese Patent No. 131589, it is structured such that it is baked and fixed to each shoe plate.

In both of the above-mentioned conventional techniques, each crawler plate of the crawler belt is in contact with the traveling road surface via the elastic member, so that the traveling road surface is protected from the crawler belt, but in the traveling direction or the lateral direction. No consideration has been given to the prevention of slipping to the road, and on a frozen road surface there is a risk of slipping in the running direction or in the lateral direction, which is dangerous.

Further, in the case of the above-mentioned conventional crawler belt pad, since a relatively soft elastic member is used to protect the traveling road surface, it is used for a crawler track for a crane vehicle or an aerial work vehicle. In this case, when these working machines perform work of high lift and heavy load, the crawler belt pads are deformed and the vehicle body shakes, which is dangerous.

The present invention has been made in view of the above, and is an improved crawler pad that is detachable so that it does not slip even on a frozen road surface and the vehicle body sways even in a crane or an aerial work vehicle. It is an object of the present invention to provide a crawler belt pad that can be safely operated without any operation.

In order to achieve the above-mentioned object, the crawler belt pad according to the present invention connects both end members 3 and 4 located at both ends in the longitudinal direction with a connecting member 5, and at the same time, connects the connecting members. 5, the elastic member 6 is fixed to the both end members 3,
A fixed hook member 7 that engages with the longitudinal end portion of the shoe plate 1 is fixed to one end member 3 of the four, and a detachable hook member that engages with the other longitudinal end portion of the shoe plate 1 to the other end member 4. 8 is detachably fixed with a bolt 9, and spikes 11, 11a and 18 are provided on at least one of the both end members 3 and 4. Further, the spikes 20 are provided on the tread side of the elastic member 19 instead of the both end members 3 and 4. Further, the hardness of the elastic member 21 is set to 65 to 99 degrees, preferably 80 to 95 degrees, and a tread member 22 made of an elastic material having a hardness lower than that of the elastic member 21 is planted on the tread surface side. Further, the planting of the tread surface member 22 is joined by pushing in the foot portion while the elastic member 21 is still soft while being molded.

[Operation] Spikes 11 and 11 provided on the end member 4
The a and 18 come into contact with the traveling road surface to prevent them from slipping, and the vehicle can travel without slipping on the frozen road surface. Further, the spikes 20 implanted in the elastic member 19 also serve as a slip stopper. The elastic member 21 having a higher hardness is attached to the tread member 22 having a lower hardness.
Since the elastic member is restrained from being deformed when the vehicle is stopped, the tread member has an anti-slip effect when the vehicle is running. Further, in the method of manufacturing a track pad, the tread member 22 is fixed to the elastic member 21 without using an adhesive.

A groove 13 is provided on the back surface of each of the end members 3 and 4 for engaging with a ridge 12 provided at the center of the track 1 in the running direction, and fixed to each of the end members 3 and 4. Engagement holes 14, 1 in which the above-mentioned ridges 12 engage with both hook members 7, 8
5 is provided. The attachable / detachable hook member 8 is adapted to be fitted in a recess provided at the end of the end member 4. The height of the spike 11 is lower than that of the elastic member 6 by an elastic bending margin of the elastic member 6, so that the tip end of the spike 11 contacts the traveling road surface in a state where the elastic member 6 is flexibly deformed by the weight of the vehicle. Has become.

When the crawler belt pad having the structure shown in the first embodiment is mounted on each crawler plate 1 for traveling, each elastic member 6 contacting the traveling road surface at this time is compressed and deformed by the weight of the vehicle. The spikes 11, 1 attached to the end member 4
The tip of 1a comes into contact with the road surface to prevent slippage,
The vehicle can be stably driven when the road surface is slippery, such as when the road surface is frozen. When the spikes 11 and 11a are not used, they are replaced with the spacer 16. Further, in this embodiment, the crawler belt pads having different lengths can be easily manufactured by preparing the connecting members 5 having different lengths in the manufacturing.

FIG. 7 shows a second embodiment of the present invention, in which one end member 4a is provided with a plurality of pin-shaped spikes 18. Each of the spikes 18 is planted by screwing, and is removed when not in use, and its screw hole is closed with a rubber plug or a screw plug. The height of each of the spikes 18 is also lower than that of the elastic member 6 by the amount of elastic deformation of the elastic member 6 so that the spike 18 contacts the road surface when the vehicle is running.

FIGS. 10 and 11 further show a fourth embodiment of the present invention, in which a plurality of tread members 22 made of another elastic material are planted on the tread surface of the elastic member 21 of the crawler belt pad. . The hardness of the elastic member 21 in this embodiment is relatively hard, for example, 65 to 99 degrees, preferably 80 to 95 degrees. The hardness of the tread surface member 22 to be planted for the elastic member 21 is lower than that, for example, the hardness of 60 to 70 degrees is used.

A method of implanting the tread member 22 in this embodiment will be described below. The elastic member 21 is connected to the plate-shaped connecting member
It takes a certain amount of time to cure the elastic member 21 by heat molding when it is piled up and molded. Therefore, when the elastic member 21 is sufficiently soft, the tread member 22 is pushed into and inserted into the elastic member 21, whereby the foot portion of the tread member 22 is retracted into the elastic member 21. The elastic member 21 shrinks slightly as it hardens, so that the tread member 22 is firmly fixed without using an adhesive or the like.

According to the present invention, it is possible to travel on a frozen road surface without slipping, and the safety during travel can be improved.
Further, since the elastic member 21 having a high hardness is planted with the tread member 22 having a hardness lower than the elastic member 21, the safety at the time of stoppage is improved, and the vehicle body does not shake even in a crane or an aerial work vehicle. The work by can be performed safely.
