Description of the Related Art Conventionally, a weather strip which seals glass for raising and lowering doors of automobiles of this type repeats raising and lowering opening and closing a number of times, and it is necessary to smoothly and comfortably perform opening and closing operations of the raising and lowering window glass. Further, airtightness is required to be maintained, and the appearance is required to be aesthetic for a long period of time. Therefore, this kind of weather strip is formed by using a thermoplastic elastomer, which is a material that has flexibility, elasticity, and cushioning properties, and is made of synthetic rubber or a material that can be reduced in weight. On the surface that comes in contact with glass, fine hair such as nylon or polyester is flocked or a synthetic resin coating such as urethane or nylon is dissolved, but the surface of other weather strips is not treated. Is generally known to be used without implementation.

Further, the exposed portion of the weather strip made of a thermoplastic elastomer or its foam is easily scratched by light rubbing, and the surface is roughened by a solvent or chemicals such as aromatic kerosene and white gasoline. There were many problems such as occurrence. The present invention has been made in view of the problems of the prior art, and its object is to integrally extrude a thin coating film for reinforcement on the surface exposed during use of the weather strip. Therefore, it is an object of the present invention to provide a method for forming a weather strip that is excellent in appearance by preventing damage over a long period of time.

The glass pressure welding part, the vehicle body panel, and the attachment part attached to the door panel are extrusion molded. A thin film made of a synthetic resin of polyolefin resin excellent in abrasion resistance and chemical resistance was fused at the same time as the extrusion molding of the weather strip body on each surface exposed when the weather strip was mounted. This is a molding method in which the exposed surface is strongly reinforced by integrally covering and molding in a state.

Is composed of a thermoplastic elastomer of polyolefin resin or a foamed synthetic resin body thereof. In this weather strip body (1), glass press contact parts (3) of various shapes are formed in the parts press contacting the elevating door glass (6), and are attached to the vehicle body panel (7) and door panel (8) respectively. The attachment member (12) having various shapes is extruded to form the longitudinal member. Next, the weather strip main body (1) is made of a synthetic resin of polyolefin resin, which is remarkably strong in abrasion resistance and chemical resistance with respect to the surface exposed to the outer surface at the position where it is mounted and is used. A thin film (5) having a thickness of 05 mm or less is extruded by another extruder at the same time as the weather strip body (1) is extrusion-molded, and then extruded from the inside of one mold die to integrally form a film layer on the surface. is there. Reference numeral (4) indicates a tape or flock provided on the contact surface of the lifting door glass (6), and reference numeral (9) indicates a support sash for attaching the vehicle body panel (7).

The polyolefin high molecular weight polyethylene that forms a thin film (5) of m or less is put into another extrusion molding machine, and the extrusion work is performed simultaneously by using two extrusion molding machines. Polymerize. At this time, since the synthetic resins are compatible with each other, the surface and the whole are integrally fused by the heat and pressure at the time of extrusion molding to be toughened. The thickness of the thin film (5) is 0.05 mm.
The thickness can be adjusted to an appropriate thickness below. The thickness of the thin film (5) is most preferably 0.05 mm or less, and 0.05 mm or more is unnecessary. Further, the specific gravity of the polyolefin-based thermoplastic elastomer is 0.88, and the specific gravity of the rubber is reduced by 30 to 40% as compared with 1.25.

By forming a thin film with a thickness of 0.05 mm or less of the polyolefin resin, the surface has a very good appearance and prevents scratches as well as cuts,
It has the advantage of maintaining gloss for a long period of time and improving the quality, and also has the effect of preventing the skin from being invaded by the chemicals even with solvents such as aromatic kerosene and white gasoline. Also,
Since the thermoplastic elastomer of the weatherstrip body and the polyolefin resin forming the thin film are compatible with each other, they are extruded at the same time, and the heat and pressure during extrusion are used to fuse the entire body together. It also has the effect of strengthening. Then, the synthetic resin material can be appropriately selected for each of the two extruders, that is, the weather strip extruder and each extruder that forms a thin film. Also, since the one extruded from each extruder is inserted and crimped through the inside of one die, it is remarkably tougher than the conventional one with synthetic resin paint and flocking attached, and the thin coating is firm. Has the effect of being integrated. Further, there is a convenient effect that the thickness of the thin coating can be freely adjusted to an appropriate thickness of 0.05 mm or less.
