A pair of upper and lower intermediate idler rollers in the above-mentioned prior art has a function of preventing looseness of the endless conveyor belt when the rush seedlings are conveyed while being sandwiched by the pair of upper and lower endless conveyor belts. , And also has an action of preventing the grass seedlings to be sandwiched from escaping to the disk cutter blade portion. Further, when the pair of upper and lower idler rollers are arranged at the positions opposed to each other, the interval between the pair of endless conveyor belts is regulated at that position, and the grass plant seedlings larger than the interval may be damaged by the clamping pressure. As in the prior art, a pair of upper and lower intermediate idler rollers are arranged at non-opposing positions.

On the other hand, it is necessary to greatly widen the gap between the pair of endless conveyor belts on the upstream side of the conveyor so that the rush seedlings can be easily supplied to the pair of upper and lower endless conveyor belts. In order to solve this problem, in the above-mentioned prior art, if the position of the front side (transport upstream side) of the upper endless transport belt is arranged far away from the lower endless transport belt, the intermediate end of the upper endless transport belt is increased. Since the idler roller is arranged on the downstream side in the transport direction with respect to the disc cutter blade, the action of preventing the slack of the endless transport belt and the grass seedlings to be sandwiched do not escape to the disc cutter blade location. There is a problem that the action to do is weakened.

With this configuration, a large gap can be opened so that the upper endless conveyor belt is inclined at a large angle with respect to the lower endless conveyor belt on the upstream side of the conveyor, which is the rush seedling supply section. Therefore, it becomes easy to supply the plant of the rush seedling, and it is easy to hold it. Moreover, since the position of each intermediate idler roller on both endless conveyor belts is arranged at the non-opposing position (the position displaced in the front-rear direction in the conveying direction) on the upstream side of the conveying means relative to the cutting means, while sandwiching the rush seedlings. Both the action of preventing the slack of the pair of endless transport belts during transport and the action of preventing the grass seedlings to be sandwiched from escaping to the cutting site by the cutting means are not impaired. Has the effect of saying.

The upper endless conveyor belt 8 is also provided with a winding support roller 52 on the upstream side of the conveyor to an idler roller 50.
The winding support roller 52 is extended from the lower endless conveyor belt 9 so that the extending direction of the endless conveyor belt 8 up to and including the lower endless conveyor belt 9 is greatly expanded and inclined toward the upstream side with respect to the extending direction of the lower endless conveyor belt 9. Since the idler roller 50 is arranged so as to approach the lower endless conveyor belt 9, the idler roller 50 is arranged so that the conveyor surface of the upper endless conveyor belt 8 with respect to the lower endless conveyor belt 9 is on the upstream side of the conveyor which is the supply section of the rush seedling I. The gap can be wide open so that it can be inclined at a large angle. Therefore, the rush seedling stock should be supplied to the feed port 1 of this machine unit A.
It is easy to supply to 0, and it is easy to pinch. Moreover, since the position of the intermediate idler roller 50 in the upper endless conveyor belt 8 is merely located upstream of the cutting means 14a, 14b in the conveying direction, the above-mentioned two effects can be achieved without increasing the number of idler rollers installed. (The effect of preventing the slack of the endless conveyor belt when nipping and transporting rush seedlings and the effect of preventing the entwined weed seedlings I from escaping to the cutting point) This simplifies the manufacturing process and also reduces the manufacturing cost.

If the operator moves the stalk portion of the rush seedling I on the tip end side by hand from the supply port 10 to the discharge port 11, the labor of the worker increases. Therefore,
As shown in FIGS. 9 to 11, the upper and lower stalk-holding conveyor belts 6 are provided on the front side of the main unit A in both endless conveyor belts 8 and 9.
0 and 61 are arranged so that both endless conveyor belts 8 and 9 can be conveyed at the same speed. Protrusions 62 for preventing the sliding of the stems are provided on the outer peripheral surfaces of the upper and lower stem-holding and conveying belts 60, 61.
Are formed at appropriate intervals. As a result, after the stem portion on the tip side of the rush seedling I is manually attached and guided to the 10 supply ports, the stem portion on the tip side is clamped by the pair of stem clamping conveyor belts 60, 61. The person can let go and move to the next work of supplying the rush seedlings I to improve work efficiency and reduce fatigue.

The pulley 63 for supporting the downstream end of the lower stalk-holding and conveying belt 61 on the conveying downstream side is provided with the cutting means 14a.
By arranging the lower endless conveyor belt 9 between the lower endless conveyor belt 9 and the winding support roller 41 for supporting the end portion on the downstream side of the conveyor, the stalk (the portion to be discarded as unnecessary) on the side of the tip is separated from the lower endless conveyor belt. Since it is not brought to the transport downstream end of 9, that is, the discharge location of the grass seedlings to be trimmed, the subsequent sorting work is extremely easy.

In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 12 and 13, the height position and inclination angle of the main body section A of the cutting and aligning device for rush seedlings are determined according to the height of the worker and the type of standing work and sitting work on a chair. It is an example of a configuration that allows adjustment and change. In this embodiment, as described above, the trolley portion B is composed of a pair of front and rear pipe-shaped frames 2a and 2b bent downward and a pedestal 3 having caster wheels 6 at its lower end. The pedestal 3 is vertically movably fitted into the hollow stanchions of the frames 2a and 2b, and the locking pins 5 are inserted into a plurality of pin holes 4 formed in the stanchion 3 at different height positions. Adjustably locked.

On the other hand, of the front and rear frames 2a, 2b,
Brackets 6 attached to the left and right sides of the front frame 2a
While the main body unit A is rotatably supported at 65 pivotal support shafts 64 and 64, a plurality of replacement holes 67 for changing the rotation angle are provided in brackets 66 attached to the left and right sides of the rear frame 2b. And the locking pin 68 inserted into the optional replacement hole 67 is fitted and supported in the locking hole (not shown) on the side surface of the main unit A. It should be noted that a plurality of replacement holes may be provided on the side surface of the main unit A and the locking hole may be provided on the bracket 66 side. In this way, the angle θ1 at which the stem axis of the rush plant I to be conveyed is inclined with respect to the horizontal plane can be changed and adjusted arbitrarily (0 to 90 degrees) as shown by the chain double-dashed line in FIG. Therefore, in addition to the height adjustment of the trolley portion B, the height and inclination posture of the device can be finely adjusted according to the difference between the standing work and the sitting work on the chair and the difference in the height of the worker. .
