Therefore, when the core guide pipe receives a force in the direction perpendicular to the axial direction (hereinafter referred to as the radial direction) due to writing at an angle when writing or the shaft tube is shaken laterally, There was a risk that the ball would move along the tapered surface and the retainer would move. If this retainer moves, when the bias of the lead guide pipe is released and the retainer returns to the center, the balls may be separated from the tapered surface of the fastener and the intermediary movement device of the lead guide pipe may not work.

This invention solves the above-mentioned problems, in an automatic feeding type mechanical pencil having a lead holding device that moves the lead axially forward with a slight force but holds it axially backward with a strong force. , A shaft tube and a core guide pipe that is slidably mounted in the shaft tube in the axial direction and urged forward in the axial direction are provided with a fastening member having a tapered surface inclined in the axial direction. At the same time, a flat member having a flat surface portion extending flat in the axial direction is provided on the other side, and at least one of the fastener member and the flat surface portion is configured to be swingable in the radial direction.

Therefore, when writing while tilting the barrel, the core guide pipe is pushed toward the paper surface and is pushed to one side in the radial direction. However, since at least one of the fastener member and the flat surface portion is swingably attached to the barrel or the core guide pipe, the fastener or the flat surface portion is shaken by the amount that the core guide pipe is moved to one side. The ball does not move and is not pressed against the tapered surface of the fastener by a strong force, and the ball is always positioned by being pressed between the tapered surface and the flat surface portion of the fastener by an appropriate force.

Next, the operation of the embodiment shown in FIG. 1 will be described. Writing causes the core 4 to wear and the core guide pipe 2 retracts axially rearward, but the core guide pipe 2 and the flat member 3 also retract. In this state, when the writing is temporarily stopped and the tip of the core guide pipe 2 is separated from the paper surface, the flat member 3
Does not move forward even though it is biased axially forward by the front spring 6. The reason for this is that the ball 9 and the taper surface 7A of the fastening member 7 of the inter-guide guide pipe intermittent movement device are
This is because, due to the wedge action, the flat member 3 can be moved rearward in the axial direction with a slight force, but is held forwardly in the axial direction with a strong force. Moreover, at this time, since the core tube 1 is tilted for writing, the core guide pipe 2 is moved in the radial direction or the shaft tube 1 is shaken in the radial direction, so that the flat member 3 shakes laterally and the ball 9 moves in the radial direction. Ball 9
Since the fastening member 7 can also be swung in the same direction, the ball 9 is always kept in contact with the tapered surface 7A of the fastening member 7, and the wedge action of the ball 9 is reliably operated. Then, when the flat member 3 is retracted by a certain amount, the contact step 3A of the flat member 3 is brought into contact with the front end of the retainer 8, and the retainer 8 is retracted against the friction fitting force of the elastic body 10. Then, the ball 9 attached to the retainer 8 also retreats in conjunction with the retainer 8, and the ball 9 moves toward the tapered surface 7 of the fastening member 7.
When separated from A, the wedge action is released and the state shown in FIG. 3 is obtained. Therefore, the flat member 3 biased forward by the front spring 6 advances axially forward. Then, the receiving step 3C of the flat member 3 comes into contact with the rear end of the retainer 8, and the elastic member 1
The retainer 8 is moved forward against the zero friction fitting force. Then, the ball 9 comes into contact with the tapered surface 7A of the fastening member 7 and returns to the state of FIG.

As shown in FIG. 4, the pressure contact pipe 17 is externally fitted to the flat surface portion 3B of the flat member 3 of the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, and the pressure contact spring 18 is provided between the pressure contact pipe 17 and the receiving stage 3C. If the structure in which the press-contact pipe 17 is brought into contact with the ball 9 is added by stretching, the wedge action between the ball 9 and the tapered surface 7A of the fastening member 7 becomes more reliable.

Further, in the above embodiment, the fastener member is loosely fitted to the shaft cylinder,
As shown in FIG. 5, even if the fastener member 107 is swingably fitted in the recessed portion 102A of the core guide pipe 102 as shown in FIG. And the fastening member 107 are interlocked with each other, and the same purpose as in the above-described embodiment is obtained. Moreover, if the rear end outer flange 102B of the core guide pipe 102 is provided with a plurality of cut grooves in the axial direction so as to have elasticity, the fastening member 107 can easily be provided.
It is loosely fitted in the second recess 102A.

As a result, even if the ball is moved in the radial direction by writing at an angle or when the barrel is shaken laterally, the fastener member or the flat surface portion that is swingable in the radial direction shakes together with the ball. Since the ball can be moved, the ball is always positioned between the tapered surface and the flat surface portion of the fastener by an appropriate force, and the intermittent movement of the core guide pipe can be reliably performed.

1. A lead guide pipe axially slidably housed in an axial cylinder and biased axially forward, and a lead that moves axially forward with a slight force but axially backward. Consists of a core holding device that holds with a strong force, the core guide pipe retracts with the wear of the core for writing, and when the core guide pipe moves forward in the axial direction, the core is drawn out following the core guide pipe. In the automatic pay-out mechanical pencil, a flat member in which a fastener member having a tapered surface inclined in the axial direction and a flat surface portion extending flat in the axial direction are integrally or separately formed Are arranged so as to face each other, and further, a retainer, which is attached to a flat member so as to be movable in the axial direction as appropriate, is frictionally connected to the fastener member via an elastic body and is rotatably provided on the retainer. The ball is positioned so that it can abut between the tapered surface of the fastener member and the flat surface portion of the flat member, and one of the fastener member and the flat member is provided on the core guide pipe and the other is provided on the barrel. At least one of the fastener member and the flat surface portion is configured to be swingable in a direction perpendicular to the axial direction, and a lead guide pipe intermittent movement device for an automatic pay-out mechanical pencil.
