2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, various methods such as a dropper method or a photoelectric tube device method have been used as a method of automatically stopping a loom when a warp is cut during weaving of the loom. Since the conventional dropper method uses the same number of droppers as the number of warp threads, a considerably large number of droppers are required, and not only is it extremely time-consuming to carry out preparation work such as threading the warps, but also the dropper wears out drastically. , The replacement maintenance cost was large. In the conventional photoelectric tube device type, a photoelectric tube device is installed in the lower part of the warp row, and when the cut warp hangs downward, by blocking the optical path of the photoelectric tube device, the warp cutting is detected and the loom is operated. This photocell device system has been stopped automatically, but there is an advantage that complicated preparatory work such as that of the conventional dropper system can be omitted, but the detection of warp cutting tends to be uncertain. There is.

Therefore, the applicant of the present invention positively rotates in the same direction as the warp transfer direction by contacting only the tips with the upper or lower side of the warp row between the twill bamboo and the heald of the loom. To provide a brush roller for positively pulling the cut warp from the warp row, and to detect the cut warp drawn by the brush roller between the brush roller and the twill bamboo to operate the automatic stop mechanism of the loom. Has proposed a light source and a photoelectric element opposed to each other on both sides of the warp row (see Japanese Patent Publication No. 56-3450). However, it cannot be said that the above-mentioned brush roller has a reliable function of drawing the cut warp from the warp row. In order to further improve this point, a needle-shaped body implanted in a comb shape,
It has been proposed to use a rotating roller in which brushes densely planted in a single row or a plurality of rows are arranged on the outer peripheral surface instead of the brush roller (see Japanese Patent Publication No. 54-36718).

The latter proposal described above improves the pulling action of the cut warp yarns generated in the warp yarn row, but prevents the warp yarn breakage due to the static electricity generated in the warp yarn row. There was a drawback that could not be done. Further, conventionally, the tip of the needle-shaped body is a tapered sharp end, and the action of catching the cut warp is uncertain, so that the action of pulling out the cut warp from the warp row tends to be delayed. Further, conventionally, synthetic fibers or animal hair is used for the brush. These do not have an electrostatic removing action, and when thick hair is used, they impede the entry of cut warp yarns, which deteriorates the trapping action, and when thin hair is used, the waist is weak, so it can be said that the trapping action of warp yarns is certain. However, there is a drawback that the automatic stop operation of the loom is delayed or uncertain.

The rotating roller is rotated during operation of the loom, and the static electricity removing member provided on a part of the rotating roller removes the static electricity generated in the warp row. This prevents warp yarn breakage due to generation of static electricity. When the warp is cut, the needle-shaped body of the rotating roller pulls the cut warp out of the warp row, and the brush hooks the pulled cut warp to make it tense. Since the needle-shaped body and the brush are made of stainless steel fine wire, the removal of static electricity is further promoted, and the tip of the needle-shaped body is curled or crimped to form a loop-shaped enlarged portion. Since it is possible to reliably pull out the cut warp from the warp row by the needle-shaped body, and moreover, the cut warp drawn out by the needle-shaped body can be easily and surely captured by the brush made of the stainless thin wire,
The tension is reliably applied to the cut warp yarns, and the response speed of the automatic stop operation of the loom when the warp yarns are cut is improved.

As shown in FIG. 2 (A), the rotating roller (6) has a needle-like body (6a) which is planted in a comb shape on the outer peripheral surface and a brush (6b) which is densely planted. Further, by rotating the rotating roller (6), the tip of the needle-shaped body (6a) is projected into the warp row, the cut warp is pulled out of the row, and this is hooked on the brush (6b) for tension. A mechanism for automatically stopping the loom using this tension is installed. This mechanism installs a plurality of support pins (6c) on the outer peripheral surface of the rotating roller (6) in a row parallel to the shaft at appropriate intervals, and attaches a micro switch (6d) to the end of the shaft. The strip (6e) attached to the operating piece (not shown) of the support pin (6c) at the small hole (6
c ') and tie it to the support pin (6c) at the other end and stretch it,
The tension force of the cut warp thread (5 ') caught on the brush (6b) and tensioned reaches the striation (6e) and presses it down at the contact point to pull it. As a result, the operating piece closes the contact and energizes to operate the automatic stop mechanism to stop the loom.

The brush (6b) of the rotary roller (6)
Is made of stainless steel thin wire (thickness 0.1 mm), and the needle-like body (6a) is thicker than the brush (6b) (thickness 1.0 mm).
As shown in FIG. 2B, the tip portion (6a ') of the needle-like body (6a) is curled or crimped to form a loop-shaped enlarged portion, which is made of stainless steel fine wire, and is formed into a warp string. To ensure the trapping effect of the cut warp (5 ') generated inside, to pull it out from the warp row immediately and hook it securely on the brush (6b), to further increase the tension of the cut warp (5') ( The operation of the micro switch (6d) by pressing down the 6e) is surely speeded up. An example of a method of curling or crimping the tip portion (6a ′) of the needle-shaped body (6a) to form a loop-shaped enlarging portion is to use a stainless steel fine wire as shown in FIG. The simplest method is to use and bend it in two to form a slightly enlarged loop at this bent portion, but other methods may be used. The needles (6a) are preferably planted on the rotary roller (6) in such a manner that the enlarged direction of the loop-shaped enlarged portion is aligned with the warp direction.

Next, the operation will be described. First, while the loom is in operation, the rotating roller (6) is rotated to move the tip portion (6) of the needle-shaped body (6a).
a ') is brought into contact with the warp row, and static electricity generated in the warp row is removed by the static electricity removing member (7) arranged at the base of the needle-shaped body (6a). This prevents the warp (5) from being broken due to the generation of static electricity. When the warp yarn (5) is cut, the needle-shaped body (6a) of the rotating roller (6) pulls the cut warp yarn (5 ') out of the warp row and pulls the pulled cut warp yarn (5'). The brush (6b) hooks and tensions. Since the needle-shaped body (6a) and the brush (6b) are made of stainless thin wires, the static electricity removing action is further promoted, and the tip portion (6a ') of the needle-shaped body (6a) is curled. Since it is crimped to form a loop-shaped bulge, the needle-like body (6a) reliably pulls out the cut warp (5 '), and the brush (6b) is also made of stainless thin wire. The action of catching the cut warp (5 ') pulled out by the needle-shaped body (6a) is improved, the tension is reliably applied to the cut warp (5'), and the automatic stop operation of the loom when cutting the warp is responded. Speed is improved.
