【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 【請求項1】 軒棟方向の少なくとも一部に大きな段差
を有する横葺き屋根において、 躯体コンクリート(9)、 母屋などの支持部材上に金属
製の垂木(10)を固定し、 底板(11a)を有し、かつこの底板(11a)の軒側
縁から立上った上拡がりの側板(11b)を有すると共
に、この側板(11b)の上部に横葺き屋根板の面板
(14)の直下に配設する下地材(13)の軒側端部を
支持する支持片(11f)と、前記面板(14)の垂下
部(14c)裏面を支持する起立部(11e)とを設け
た段付け部材(11)を形成して、前記底板(11a)
を垂木(10)に固定し、 前記下地材(13)の棟側端部を前記垂木(10)上に
支持させ、 下地材(13)上に面板(14)を横葺きして、軒棟方
向に隣接する前記面板間に大きな段差を形成すると共
に、 軒側の面板(14)の棟側縁部に設けた係合部(14
b)と棟側の面板(14)の軒側縁部に垂下部(14
c)を介して設けた係合部(14d)とを係合させて、
前記垂木(10)に固定した吊子(16)に係合保持さ
