Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the collapse of a tip end of a plug member by a method wherein a coating material injection member provided in one mold is inserted into a molded piece, an auxiliary mold is internally provided in the other mold so as not to abut on the tip open end of an injection hole, and the retractable plug is internally provided in the injection hole. CONSTITUTION:An injection member 6 internally provided with a coating material injection hole 6c is provided in an upper mold 3 so as to be inserted into a molded piece 1. An auxiliary mold 7 is internally provided in a lower mold 4 opposedly to the injection member 6 so as not to abut on the tip open end of the injection hole 6c. A plug member 6b is internally provided in the injection hole 6c so as to move forward and backward through the injection hole 6c. When the molded piece 1 is formed by clamping in the nearly contact state of a tip end 6e of the injection member 6 with the auxiliary mold 7, a thin flash part 12 is formed between the tip end 6e and an upper surface 7a of the auxiliary mold 7. When a coating material is injected through the injection hole 6c after a clamping force is reduced and the plug member 6b is retracted from the auxiliary mold 7, the thin flash 12 is broken by the injection pressure, and the coating material is injected between the lower surface of the molded piece 1 and the upper surface of the lower mold 4. Therefore, the tip end of the plug does not collapse.
