Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve workability and reliability of maintenance and outfit wiring by connecting a conductor connected to an electric car control unit to an outfitting cable through a terminal block in an outfitting wiring duct so as to enlarge a space in a box. CONSTITUTION:A terminal block 5 is mounted on the upper face in a cylindrical outfitting wiring duct receiver 6c. And when a conductor 3 connected to an electric car control unit 4 in a box 6 is connected to an outfitting cable 4 arranged in an outfitting wiring duct 8, a small duct lid 12 is removed without removing a large side cover 7 and the conductor 3 and the outfitting cable 4 are mounted on a connection terminal part of the exposed terminal block 5 with a mounting screw 5a for connection. At maintenance work, by removing the small duct lid 12 without removing the large side cover 7, maintenance is done at the connection terminal part of the exposed terminal block 5. Thus, maintenance and outfitting wiring work can be done outside the body and workability can be improved.

Since the conventional electric vehicle controller is constructed as described above, there is a space near the terminal block 5 in the housing 6 for wiring connection work and maintenance and inspection work. Although necessary, since the electric vehicle control device is attached to the lower portion of the vehicle body 5, the outer dimensions of the housing 6 are limited and the above space is taken, so that the housing 6 cannot be enlarged. Therefore, the electric vehicle control unit 2 below the terminal block 5 requires a cut 2a as shown in FIG. 4, which complicates the structure of the electric vehicle control unit 2 and the arrangement of the electric vehicle control unit 2 in the housing 6, and the electric vehicle control device. Since maintenance and inspection as well as outfitting and wiring work must be carried out with the vehicle 1 mounted on the vehicle body 11, the large side cover 7 must be removed during the above maintenance and inspection and outfitting and wiring work, and the electric vehicle control unit 2 However, there is a problem that it is difficult to work because it is necessary not to hit a tool etc.
