Also, a lower body having a plurality of escape holes formed at appropriate places on the same upper surface, and a plurality of cap fitting holes at the same arrangement and at the same intervals as the insertion holes and the escape holes are provided. A rod shaft with a retaining head is erected downward at a location corresponding to the hole, a washer is vertically movably fitted to the rod shaft, and a return is given to the washer to give elastic force to the washer toward the retaining head. Intermediate body wound with a coil spring for
A step of forming an upper body having recessed holes formed in the lower surface at the same arrangement and the same distance as the insertion holes, and bringing the inner casing out of the outer casing; the upper body is placed on the inner casing. The step of placing and placing the mouth end of the tubular container into the concave hole, the step of flipping the whole body upside down after placing it, and placing it on the gantry. A step of leaving it in an inverted state, a step of covering the tubular container group in this inverted state with the lower body in an upside-down state and inserting the bottom side portion of the tubular container into a staking hole provided in the lower body, After this fitting, there is no step of flipping the whole body upside down and placing it on the gantry again, and removing the upper body.On the other hand, on the other hand, there are knobs and plugs with tapered outer peripheral surfaces in the fitting holes formed in the intermediate body. The cap made of is dropped from the top, the taper of the knob is fitted, and the Then, the intermediate body with the cap fitted is lowered from above the lower body with the tubular container, and the head of the rod shaft is dropped into the escape hole to allow the washer to escape. The step of engaging with the opening edge of the cap and positioning the cap part of the cap directly above the mouth of the tubular container is performed. A method of fitting caps into a large number of tubular containers all at once, which comprises the step of press-fitting into the mouth.
