Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a receptor for tape printer from which a separator can be simply peeled off by a method wherein a notch of at least one position reaching an adhesive layer is provided to the separator provided onto a bandlike base material via the adhesive layer. CONSTITUTION:An adhesive layer 2 consisting of a rubber series and a synthetic resin series is formed on side surface of a bandlike base material 1. For a separator 3 consisting of a film which is surface treated with silicon or fluorine and others and made to have releasability or paper and others, a notch 4 is formed near a center in its longitudinal direction or a winding direction. The notch 4 reaches the adhesive layer 2. For the receptor cut at a suitable position after printing, an end part of the separator 3 can be peeled off from the base material 1 by bending lightly it along the notch 4. Then, by using the end part as a lug part, the separator 3 can be easily peeled off from the base material 1.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a tape printer receptor (hereinafter, simply referred to as "receptor"). More specifically, it relates to a receptor that allows the separator to be easily peeled off from the substrate after printing.

Description of the Related Art Conventionally, a character or symbol is thermally transferred onto a base material made of a synthetic resin film or the like using a thermal head, the base material is cut at an appropriate position, and then the base material is cut. A tape printer is known in which a separator on the back side of a base material is peeled off and a printed base material is attached to a file stationery or the like.
