(57) [Abstract] [Purpose] The autofocus mechanism used in TV cameras in the past has a large inertia because it is a system that drives the lens group made of glass inside the lens as a motor. It has the disadvantages of poor performance, high power consumption, and high price. The present invention is designed to eliminate the above drawbacks. According to the present invention, a solid-state image sensor 12 slidably supported by a guide shaft 2 is moved forward and backward by a feed screw 6 fixed to an output shaft of a motor 7.

[Industrial applications]

The present invention relates to an autofocus mechanism used in a TV camera.

【0002】[0002]

[Prior art]

Conventionally, what has been used as an autofocus mechanism has a focus mechanism on the lens side.

【0003】[0003]

[Problems to be solved by the device]

In the conventional autofocus mechanism, it is necessary to drive the lens group made of glass as a motor, and since the inertia is large, the response is poor and the power consumption is large.

【0004】[0004]

[Means for Solving the Problems]

The present invention was devised to solve the above-mentioned problems, and aims to achieve the object by supporting the solid-state imaging device 12 having a small mass using the guide shaft 2 and driving it in the front-back direction from the motor 7. To do.

[Action]

The operation of the present invention will be described. By processing the image signal by computer and applying a voltage in the forward and reverse directions to the motor 7, the feed screw 6 rotates, and the solid-state image sensor 12 adhered and fixed to the slider 4 moves back and forth. It moves and automatically adjusts the optical distance.

Referring to the drawings, the flange 1 has a lens 11 which is C-mount coupled, a screw-coupled upper cover 9 and a lower cover 10 at approximately the center thereof. The two guide shafts 2 are fixed to the connecting plate 3 to which the motor 7 is fixed by the flange 1 at the left end and the band 8 at the right end, respectively. Two bushes 5 slidably inserted in the guide shaft 2 are fixed to the slider 4 to which the solid-state image sensor 12 is fixedly attached. The feed screw 6 fixed to the output shaft of the motor 7 is rotatably screwed to the slider 4.

[Effect of device]

As described in detail above, this invention is to perform autofocusing by moving a light-weight solid-state image pickup device back and forth, so that the inertia is small and the response is good and energy saving is achieved. Moreover, it does not require a lens with a focus function and a fixed focus lens is sufficient, so the overall weight is light and the price is low.
