(5)を接近させると同時に、折込みひだ(2)(3)に向って
対のへら板(6)(7)を接近させる必要がある。また実公昭
46−7015号公報には前記両押さえ板(4)(5)の対向
面に作用する真空吸引力で袋面をこれら両押さえ板に吸
着しながら、エアシリンダ(8) の動力で袋の正、背面を
接近させることを開示している。2. 記正面及び背面のそれぞれ内側に沿って挿入すると共
に、前記袋両側面中央の折込みひだを一対の押込み部材
で前記両抑制部材の弾性復元力に抗して袋内部へ押し込

ガゼット袋(10)の正面(18)及び背面(19)の横巾(20)より
抑制部材(13)(14)の横巾(21)は、若干小さい程度で一致
しており、抑制部材の下面中央にそれぞれ切欠き(22)を
形成している。図1のように両抑制部材の一部(23)はそ
れぞれ細巾で外側へ湾曲し、この湾曲した板バネ部分(2
3)が復元力を発揮する。かかる状態で一対のへら状の押
込み部材(24)(25)を接近させ、袋両側面の折込みひだ(2
6)(27)を内部に押込んでいくと、袋の正面と背面とはそ
れぞれ離間方向への復元力を備える両抑制部材を押しな
がら接近する。このため袋口は緊張した状態で平たく折
りたたむことができる。この場合図2のごとく押込み部
材(24)(25)の中間に弾性材(30)を介設すると、そのクッ
ション作用で押込み部材が袋を突き破るのを防止でき
る。そのあと図4に示すように切欠き部において両側の
折込みひだ(26)(27)にオーバラップする長さの挾持材(3
1)で袋(10)の口部を平たく挟み、抑制部材(13)及び押込
み部材(24)(25)を退避させたあと、袋口を加熱シールし
