Abstract

PURPOSE:To laminate a skin material at the time of molding a core material and to largely delete molding steps by vacuum molding the material in a vacuum mold, then injection molding resin while clamping the skin material molds together with the material in its cavity. CONSTITUTION:A cavity mold 12 to be vacuum molded is mounted on a lower surface of a ram 11 of a press 13. A skin material 17 is sent to a heating unit together with a skin frame 27, heated to be softened, and conveyed to the mold 12. The material 17 is sucked to be held in the mold 12, and the frame 27 is returned. The mold 12 is moved down, and when it reaches a suitable position of a core mold 30, resin is supplied from an injection unit 31 to the mold 30. Then, the ram 11 is further moved down, and a core material is press-molded together with the material 17.

However, in such a conventional instrument panel structure, the core material 6 and the skin material 3'are separately formed in different steps, and then the surface of the core material 6 is formed. Since it has a structure in which the skin material 3'is attached via an adhesive, for example, in the above skin material 3 ', the contraction of both the molded skin material and the core material slightly changes from lot to lot. However, since molding dimensions vary, a molded product with poor bonding is produced when the core material 6 is bonded. Further, since the core material 6 and the skin material 3'are molded in separate steps, it is necessary to manage the core material and the skin material such as movement and storage, which is a factor that deteriorates productivity. There was a problem that there were many things.

The present invention has been made by paying attention to such a conventional problem, and after vacuum forming a skin material with a vacuum forming die, the skin material is formed into a vacuum forming die. Without releasing from the cavity mold, the cavity mold is closed together with the skin body with the mold for molding the core material, and the resin for molding the core material is injected into the mold to be molded integrally with the skin material. By doing so, it is an object of the present invention to provide a skin material-attached composite type device capable of improving product quality and obtaining a product excellent in productivity and economy.

In the above-mentioned embodiment, the method of vacuum forming the skin material 17 is used. However, for example, the heated skin material 17 is pinned to the pin 36 of the cavity mold 12 to press the press ram 1.
1 is lowered and vacuum-formed, and further lowered until it is bonded to the core mold 30, and pressurized air is supplied from the compressed air device 37 from the core mold 30 to reliably perform molding. After that, the press ram 11 is raised to a proper position, resin is injected, and pressure is applied, so that it is possible to obtain an integrally bonded composite product of the skin material 17 and the core material 6.

As described above, in this embodiment, after the skin material is vacuum-formed into a predetermined shape with the cavity mold, the core material is closed while closing the cavity mold with the skin material being vacuum-adsorbed. Since it is a device that supplies resin for molding into the mold and press-molds the core material integrated with the above-mentioned skin material, the bondability between the skin material and the core material is good, and moreover, the skin material during the molding process. Since the mold is not released from the cavity mold, for example, the flow (collapse) of the grain pattern formed on the surface of the skin material does not occur, and thus a skin-bonded synthetic shaped article having excellent quality can be obtained. Further, according to this, since the skin material is attached at the time of molding the core material, the molding process can be significantly reduced.

As described above, according to the present invention, the skin material 17 is set on the skin frame 27 and moved to an appropriate position, the skin frame moving unit 24, the moving frame 26, and the heating unit 25 for heating the skin material 17. A cavity mold 12 for vacuum-suction molding the heated skin material 17, a core mold 30 corresponding to this cavity mold, and a cavity mold 12 for which the skin material 17 is still vacuum-sucked. Drive means for operating, cavity mold 12 and core mold 30
Before the and are closed, the resin supply means for injecting the molten resin onto the die surface of the core die 30, the skin material still set in the cavity die and the injectable resin in the core die are pressurized. Since it is a skin material adhering / synthesizing device having a pressurizing means for forming a skin material, according to this, after the skin material is vacuum-formed into a predetermined shape by a cavity type, the skin material is vacuum-sucked into a cavity. While closing the mold with the core mold, it is a device that supplies resin for molding the core material into the mold and press-molds the core material integrated with the above-mentioned skin material. Since the moldability is good and the mold is not released from the skin material cavity mold during the molding process, for example, the flow (collapse) of the grain pattern formed on the surface of the skin material does not occur, and therefore the skin of excellent quality is obtained. A laminated product can be obtained.
Further, according to this, since the skin material is bonded at the time of molding the core material, there is an effect that the molding process can be significantly reduced.
