2. Description of the Related Art: Tatami mats and tatami mats are naturally prone to mold, and this tendency is remarkable especially when they are new or when the humidity is high. In the case of a new house or a new condominium, when the period from the completion of the building to the actual move-in extends for several months, molds often occur on the surface of the tatami mat during that period. To prevent this, it is necessary to manage the building sufficiently by frequently opening windows to improve ventilation. However, even if this method requires manpower, it cannot be said that the antifungal effect is sufficient. A method of spraying the fungicide directly onto the tatami mat and the tatami mat is also conceivable, but there are problems such as the risk of sucking the fungicide during spraying and the spraying taking a considerable amount of time. Further, since the fungicide adheres to and remains on the tatami mat, there is a risk that an infant will lick the tatami mat, which is not a good method from the viewpoint of safety for the human body.

As a result of various attempts in view of the above situation, the present inventor has accomplished the present invention by achieving the above object by a method which is extremely safe and extremely simple for the human body. That is, the present invention provides a method for preventing mold on tatami mats and tatami mats during storage, or preventing mold on the tatami surface in a new house, condominium, or the like during the period from completion to moving in. It is meant to provide a way.

According to the present invention, a drug containing a fungicidal compound having a vapor pressure of 10 −2 to 10 −6 mmHg (20 ° C.) and high safety to human body is used,
A sheet-like material made of paper, fiber, non-woven fabric or the like is treated by coating or dipping and then dried to obtain a mildew-proof sheet. Next, the antifungal sheet is overlaid on a tatami mat or a tatami mat. For example, in the case of a roll-shaped tatami mat, the anti-mold sheet and the tatami mat can be overlaid and rolled as they are.
For tatami mats during storage, anti-mold sheets can be placed on the tatami mats or between tatami mats. In the case of a tatami mat inside a newly built house or condominium, the mildew proof effect can be achieved simply by spreading the mold proof sheet on the tatami mat. The antifungal compound used in the present invention has low volatility and generally has a vapor pressure of 10 −2 to 10 −6 mmHg (20 ° C.), but it is safe for the human body, has a long-lasting effect, and has an odor problem.
10 -3 to 10 -5 mmHg in consideration of antifungal effect
Antifungal compounds having a vapor pressure of 10 are desirable. Examples of such compounds include 4-chlorophenyl-3-iodopropargylformal, 2,3,3-triiodoallyl alcohol, 3-bromo-2,3-diiodo-2-propenylethylcarbonate and 3-iodo-2. -Propinylbutylcarbamate, α-bromocinnamic aldehyde, p-chloro-m-xylenol, O-phenylphenol, 2- (4-thiocyanomethylthio) benzothiazole, and other essential oils are also included. The material of the sheet of the present invention is not particularly limited as long as it can apply or adsorb a fungicide such as ordinary papers, fibers, non-woven fabrics and polymer films. It is also possible to laminate these two or more kinds of layers together. Since the antifungal compound used in the present invention is insoluble in water, it is convenient to use it as a coating solution or a dipping solution by making it a water-soluble liquid with a surfactant or a solvent. In addition, it is also possible to add an insecticide, an insect repellent or the like.

The antifungal compound used in the present invention has a very low vapor pressure and a large specific gravity of the vapor, so that it has a strong antifungal effect only in the immediate vicinity of the antifungal sheet used in the present invention. Is demonstrated. Therefore, since the vapor does not fill the room with high concentration, it can be said that it is extremely safe for the human body. The tatami mat has uneven surfaces, but when the above anti-mold sheets are stacked, the thin steam generated from the anti-mold sheet can reach the concave part of the tatami mat, so even if the anti-mold sheet is not in contact with the entire tatami mat It is possible to prevent mildew on the entire surface. In addition, this antifungal sheet exhibits antifungal effects only during the period of use, and when the sheet is no longer needed, after removing the sheet,
Since the fungicide does not remain on tatami mats or tatami mats,
It is extremely safe for the human body. Next, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to Examples.

Example 1 4-Chlorophenyl-3-iodopropargyl formal 5 grams Nonionic surfactant 10 grams Water 85 grams using a coating solution consisting of 85 grams.
The No. 2 kraft paper was roll-coated so that the coating amount was 5 g / m 2 , and dried to obtain a mildew-proof sheet. Next, a tatami mat having a length of 160 cm and a width of 80 cm is newly created and put in a vinyl room (length 200 cm, width 90 cm, height 80 cm) kept at a humidity of 90% or more and a temperature of 25 ° C to 28 ° C. Then, the mold-proof sheet obtained above was cut according to the size of the tatami mat, spread on the surface of the tatami mat, and the growth condition of the mold after 2 months was observed. There wasn't.

Comparative Example 1 Thiabendazole 5 g Nonionic surfactant 1.5 g Anionic surfactant 0.5 g Water 93 g A suspension was wet milled to a particle size of 1-2 micrometers with a mill. In addition, except that a stable suspension was used as the coating liquid, the mold generation state after 2 months was observed in the same manner as in Example 1. As a result, it was found that the entire surface of the tatami mat was significantly mold-formed. Was observed.
