2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, water-based ink compositions for ballpoint pens have been formed by adding a water-soluble organic solvent such as a polyhydric alcohol or its derivative to an aqueous solution containing a water-soluble dye or a water-dispersible pigment. However, such a water-based ink composition for a ballpoint pen has poor lubricity, and the distance between the ball and the holder increases due to the rotation of the ball during writing, which causes rattling of the ball and poor rotation of the ball, resulting in poor writing quality. There is a drawback that so-called line skipping occurs in which parts of the handwriting are blurred.

The present invention will be described in detail below. The compound represented by the above general formula is added as a lubricant, and specific examples thereof include thiodiglycolic acid monoamide, thiodiglycolic acid diamide, and 3,3′-thiodipropionic acid monoamide. The amount used may be 0.1 to 5% by weight, preferably 0.5 to 5% by weight based on the total amount of the ink composition.
3% by weight is preferred. If the amount used is small, a sufficient lubricating effect cannot be obtained, and if the amount used is large, the stability over time deteriorates.

In addition, if necessary, pseudoplasticity-imparting agents, rust preventives, surfactants, antiseptic / antifungal agents and the like can be appropriately selected and used. As the pseudoplasticity-imparting agent, natural polysaccharides and semi-synthetic cellulosic polymers can be used among general water-soluble polymers. More specifically, as a natural polysaccharide,
It is possible to use guar gum, locust bean gum, welan gum, rhamsan gum, xanthan gum and the like having a high molecular chemical structure composed of monosaccharides such as glucose, galactose, rhamnose, mannose and glucuronate. Further, as the semi-synthetic cellulose-based polymer,
It is possible to use methyl cellulose, ethyl cellulose, carboxymethyl cellulose, etc., which are water-soluble by esterifying or etherifying the hydroxyl groups of cellulose. Benzotriazole can be used as the rust preventive. As the preservative, phenol, potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate or the like can be used. As the mildew-proofing agent, 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one can be used.

[Effect] The water-based ink compositions obtained in Example 1 and Comparative Example 1 have a diameter of 0.6 mm and a built-in ink absorber and relay core.
Of a so-called core-type writing instrument that fills an aqueous ball-point pen equipped with a super hard ball and a nickel-white ball-point pen socket to form a pen body, and the aqueous ink compositions obtained in Examples 2 and 4 and Comparative Examples 2 and 4. With a so-called free-ink writing instrument obtained by pressing a ball-point pen tip into one end of a polypropylene tube and further removing the bubbles in the ink by centrifugation, the effect is confirmed using a spiral writing tester. went. The conditions of the tester at that time were a writing angle of 65 degrees, a load of 100 g, and a speed of 7 cm / sec, and the test paper was JIS P3201 Writing paper A. Under these conditions, the ball sinking after 500 m writing was measured using a tool microscope. . In addition, a handwriting sensory test was performed by handwriting. The results are shown in Table 1.
