PURPOSE:To change posture of L-shape steel easily by incorporating a line to carry the L-shape steel on a carrier conveyor while keeping one side of the L-shape steel horizontal, into a line to send the L shape steel on a carrier conveyor in a condition where the crest of the L-shape steel is projected upward. CONSTITUTION:A posture changing device for L-shape steel is provided with a transverse feed conveyor 2 having a stopper roller 3 in the vicinity of the tail end and a longitudinal feed conveyor capable of ascending and descending vertically while crossing at right angles to this in the end part of the transverse feed conveyor 2, and the longitudinal feed conveyor has a roller 5 and a flange guiding roller 10 arranged on the shaft end of the roller 5. A clearance dimension between the flange guiding roller 10 and the stopper roller 3 is set larger than flange thickness of L-shape steel 1, and one flange is made to be dropped easily by own weight.

は、縦送りコンベヤ4上にフラットに載せることができ
るので、切断等が容易となるばかりでなく、高価な縦送
りコンベヤ(図7)を少くし、大部分を簡単な構成の縦
送りコンベヤ(図6)で構成できるので、コスト的に有
利である。
