Abstract

PURPOSE:To manufacture a decorative board which prevents a dry pressed flower from becoming discolored due to air and at the same time, serves as a perfect protection for the flower, using a simple manufacturing technique. CONSTITUTION:First a dry pressed flower which is previously treated with a discoloration inhibitor is temporarily stuck to the surface of one of two transparent glasses 2, 3 using an adhesive. Next these two sheet glasses 2,3 are set upright with the surface to which the flower sticks facing inwardly. Further, a spacer 5 is allowed to be present on the entire periphery of both sheet glasses 2,3 excepting the part of the upper end, in such a state that the sheet glasses 2, 3 are held in parallel with an appropriate gap maintained in between. After that, a transparent resin adhesive of normal temperature-curable type with low viscosity is poured into the gap between the two sheet glasses 2,3 through a hole 6 at the upper end so that the gap is filled with the adhesive. Finally the adhesive is allowed to cure at normal temperature to obtain a decorative board containing the dry pressed flower.

2. Description of the Related Art It has been known for a long time that decorations are made by using pressed flowers. The pressed flowers are treated with an anti-tarnish agent to prevent discoloration due to ultraviolet rays for the purpose of storing the pressed flowers for a long period of time. However, about 95% to 98% of water is removed from pressed flowers, but since a small amount of water remains, even if it is treated with an anti-tarnish agent, it gradually discolors when exposed to air. There is.

Therefore, when a pressed flower is attached to the back surface of a transparent glass plate to make a decorative plate, for example,
Unless the pressed flower is completely wrapped with a resin adhesive such as epoxy, acrylic, vinyl acetate, polyethylene, etc.
There is a problem that pressed flowers touch the air and discolor. Further, since the mounting surface of the pressed flower is exposed, there is a problem that the pressed flower will be damaged unless care is taken in handling.

In order to solve this problem, the present invention provides a pressed flower which has been previously treated with a discoloration preventive agent on the surface of either one of two plates, at least one of which is transparent. After temporary fixing with an adhesive, the two plates are set up with the surface with the pressed flowers inside, and the two plates are held in parallel with a proper gap, except for a part of the upper ends of both plates. A spacer is placed around the circumference, and then a low-viscosity room temperature-curing transparent resin adhesive is poured from the upper end gap between the two plates to fill the space and cure the transparent resin adhesive at room temperature. The main idea is to wrap the pressed flower with a transparent resin adhesive that does not contain bubbles.

With this structure, the low-viscosity room temperature-curable transparent resin adhesive is poured from the upper end gap between the two plates to fill the inside of the gap, so that the transparent resin adhesive is gradually removed from below. It accumulates, and the air between the two boards is pushed out from the gap between the upper ends, and finally the air between the two boards is completely drawn out, preventing the discoloration of the pressed flowers by the air and the decorative board. You can protect the pressed flowers without having to touch them when carrying.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. 1 to 3, reference numeral 1 denotes a pressed flower sandwiched between two transparent glass plates 2 and 3, and this pressed flower 1 is treated with a pre-discoloration preventing agent to prevent discoloration by ultraviolet rays. There is. A transparent resin adhesive 4 is filled between the two glass plates 2 and 3 so that there is no air trap around the pressed flower 1.
Protects the pressed flower 1 and simultaneously joins the two glass plates 2 and 3 together.

The transparent resin adhesive used in this example is Naphtran S 700 containing methyl methacrylate as a main component.
[Manufactured by PMG Co., Ltd.]. This adhesive has a viscosity of 1
Since it is as low as cp, it has excellent injection workability, and it is difficult for bubbles to form. Also, it does not damage flowers because it cures at room temperature, and it does not undergo color change due to chemical reaction with the resin. Therefore, it is particularly suitable as an adhesive for pressed flowers.

A concrete example of this manufacturing method is shown in FIG. 3, and will be described below with reference to the drawings. First, a pressed flower 1 which has been previously treated with a discoloration preventive agent is attached to the surface of one glass plate 2 with an adhesive. After temporarily fixing, the two glass plates 2,
As shown in the figure, in order to fill the surface 3 with the pressed flower inside with the transparent resin adhesive 4 having a low viscosity and having a low viscosity, as shown in FIG. Two
In the state where 3 is erected, a rubber spacer 5 is inserted in a ring shape around the entire circumference between the two glass plates 2 and 3 except for one place at the upper end, and this state is maintained to maintain the upper end where the spacer 5 does not exist. 2 from above with a tube 7 etc. from one hole 6
The transparent resin adhesive 4 is poured between the two glass plates 2 and 3. At this time, as described above, the pressed flower 1 has the inner surface of one glass plate 2 [the surface facing the other glass plate 3] in advance.
Since it is temporarily fixed to the glass plate with adhesive,
The pressed flower 1 does not move when it is set up. Then, as described above, the transparent resin adhesive 4 is gradually accumulated from below by pouring the transparent resin adhesive 4 from the hole 6 at the upper end, and the two glass plates 2,
The air between 3 is pushed out from the gap between the hole 6 and the tube 7, and finally the transparent resin adhesive 4 is completely filled between the two glass plates 2 and 3 and the space between the glass plates 2 and 3 is filled. The air is discharged. When the transparent resin adhesive 4 filled between the two glass plates 2 and 3 is completely cured at room temperature, the spacer 5 is removed to complete the decorative plate with pressed flowers. In short, the transparent resin adhesive 4 should be filled so that air does not remain between the two glass plates 2 and 3.
As a result, the pressed flower 1 is protected by the transparent resin adhesive 4 in a state where the contact with the air is blocked, and discoloration of the pressed flower 1 due to air is prevented.

Although the glass plates 2 and 3 are used as plates for sandwiching the pressed flower 1 in the above-mentioned embodiment, they may be plates made of synthetic resin. Further, the application of the decorative plate with pressed flowers includes a table base, a partition, a floor tile, a mirror, etc., and either one of the two plates (the glass plates 2 and 3 in the above-mentioned embodiment) depending on the application. It is also possible to use the transparent plate as the transparent plate and the opaque plate as the other plate, so that the pressed flower 1 inside can be seen through the transparent plate.

As described above, according to the present invention, a decorative plate with pressed flowers can be produced by a simple method, and the finished decorative plate with pressed flowers has at least one plate between two transparent plates. The pressed flowers provided in the space are protected by the transparent resin adhesive that is filled between the two plates and does not contain air bubbles, so that the pressed flowers can be prevented from discoloring due to air, and the pressed flowers can be touched when carrying the decorative plate. It is possible to maintain excellent designability for a long period of time.
