Abstract

PURPOSE:To save energy under simple temperature control in terms of an air conditioner designed for open air treatment. CONSTITUTION:A cold/hot water coil 14, a direct expansion coil 16 and a fan 18 are housed in a casing 12, thereby forming an outlined air conditioning system. An open air intake duct 20 is incorporated into the casing 12 while an air supply duct 22 is connected to the fan 18 as well. The cold/hot water coil 14 is laid out on the front flow side with an open air flow direction X while the direct expansion coil 16 is laid out on the rear flow side. The cold/hot water coil 14 circulates a medium by way of a first intake pipeline 26 and a first drain pipeline 28. The first drain pipeline 28 is communicated with a compressor 24 of the direct expansion coil 16 and uses the cold/hot water which has passed through the cold/hot water coil 14 as cooling water for the compressor 24.
